Barkha Bisht bags a BIG Bollywood project!

TV and film actress Barkha Bisht is quite a popular name in the industry. The talented actress who was last seen in Kaal Bhairav Rahasya 2 has bagged a big Bollywood project. Barkha has been finalized to play Jashodaben, wife of Narendra Modi in the upcoming biopic, PM Narendra Modi.

Unless you live under a rock, you already know that a biopic on our current Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in pipeline and talented actor Vivek Oberoi will be seen essaying the titular role. Now, the makers have announced the final cast of the film and it includes actors like Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab, Barkha Bisht Sengupta, Manoj Joshi and Prashant Narayanan to name a few.

The biopic will transverse the journey of Narendra Modi from his humble beginnings to his years as the Chief Minister of Gujarat onto his landmark win at the 2014 elections.

Well, Barkha has been a part of popular movies like Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and Rajneeti and this project sounds really big and exciting.

We contacted Barkha to congratulate her and she shared, "It's a very small part that I'm playing in movie, but it's also impactful. I got a call from the makers because the co-producer of the film was also a part of Ram-Leela and he had seen my work in the film. Also I talked to director Omang Kumar who also liked my work, so that's how this happened."

She further added, "I think it is going to be the biggest films of the year and I'm glad to be a part of it."
