Arshi Srivastav opens up on being part of Dabangii Mulgi Aayi re Aayi, post leap

Arshi Srivastav, who plays the role of Soniya in Dabangii Mulgi Aayi re Aayi, says that she is confident people will love her in the show. The actress adds that she is working very hard to meet the expectations of her fans.

“My character is Tanmay's wife (Prateek Kumar), and Kasturi's daughter-in-law (Hemani Chawla). I am sure that, with the team's support and my director's help, I'm going to entertain the audience with my unpredictable performance,” she says.

She adds, “Well I'm not playing a lead role but yes, mine is a primary character. It’s integral in the show, and I am working hard to fulfil the expectations of the audience.”

Ask her what are the most interesting facts about her character, and she says, “Her ‘dikhawa’ of being a good bahu in front of everyone, especially in front of Kastoori. Her ‘chalbaazi’ and the way she pretends to be sweet in front of everyone by hiding her real motive.”

?Meanwhile, talking about working with Invictus T Mediaworks’ Nilanjana Purkayasstha and Herumb Khot, she says, “I love to be a part of the team of Invictus T Mediaworks. It’s like a family. Everyone is fun-loving and supportive and the set has a very positive aura.”
