Arjun Bijlani's team ENDS on a high in 'BCL 2'..!

The on-going 'BCL Season 2' has been a roller-coaster ride, literally, for the illustrious Mumbai Tigers team. The team started the season with an alluring line-up owned by the 'Naagin' star, Arjun Bijlani, who also became a pivotal player in the team. The star power in the team reached infinity when her 'Naagin' co-star, Mouni Roy was roped in as the face of the team. Other big names included Radhika Madan and Digangana Suryavanshi among others.

A team with so many big names was expected to be one of the strongest ones in the league. However, the team faced two extreme setbacks with two consecutive losses and the apparent rift between Arjun Bijlani and Shaleen Malhotra.

All good things may come to an end but all bad things never last too as the losing cause suddenly became a winning streak with a great win in their third match. After this win, yesterday was their final match against Pune Anmol Ratan, where they had an outside chance to qualify for semi-finals. They needed a surreal margin of victory to do so.

And guess what, they ALMOST managed to do so. The amazing Mumbai Tigers may not have qualified for the semi-finals, but they surely ended their campaign on a high note. They scored a humongous score of 234 runs in 10 overs, where Arjun scored his first half-century and went on to be not out on 74 runs off 32 balls and actor Sahil Anand scored an amazing century of 103 runs off 28 balls remaining not out.

After providing a mammoth target, Mumbai bowled reasonably well and went on to win the match with a relatively huge margin. So, it's curtains for Mumbai Tigers team in BCL Season 2.

But, as we say, all's well that ends well, the team is taking away a lot of positives, where Shaleen and Arjun seemed chirpy and happy together and Arjun went on to win his first Man Of The Match Award.

We congratulate the whole team and wish them All The Best for the next season, should the team stay the same.
