Are Tara Sutaria and Sidharth Malhotra dating? Actors reveal…

The millennial actors, Tara Sutaria and Sidharth Malhotra, have teamed up for an action-romantic thriller titled Marjaavan. Directed by Milap Zaveri, the film also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Rakulpreet Singh in pivotal roles. The co-producer of the film, Bhushan Kumar described the film as “a violent, dramatic love story".

Tara and Sid have been on a promotional spree for their film, and in a recent interview with Pinkvilla, the actors were quizzed if they are dating each other. Ever since Tara had confessed having a crush on Sidharth on Karan Johar’s talk show, Koffee with Karan, there had been conjecture of the two dating, however, nothing concrete ever surfaced.

During the interaction, when Sid was asked about his relationship status, he jokingly said, "Main akele aaya, ab akela jaunga. I'm alone at my home with dog only. That's how life is."  While Tara responded to the question by saying, "I had said that I had a crush on Sidharth. He's a very good looking boy and we have done a film together. He's very cute." She further goes on to call her dear co-star a 'charmer'. 

Besides, just like her co-star Sid, Tara, too is not from the industry and does not carry a filmy surname with her, and has made it to the big screen with her own talent and determination. During a recent interview when she was asked if she still feels like an outsider in the industry, she had reacted to the same saying, “Being an actor is most importantly a job, we're all here to work so when someone talks about families and how they've grown up with each other, it's all fine but in the end we're here to work, not here to talk about families and friendships we've had since we were children. I do hope we can get over the concept of insider-outsider and talk about work, which is the most important."

Sid, too stated that as he is an outsider, his journey has been different and he continues to learn from his experiences with time.
