Anushka Sharma reveals being invited for dinner by Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal

Bollywood powecouple Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif got hitched to each other in 2021. For the unversed, after getting married, the pair moved to a new apartment in Juhu, Mumbai, where they now live next door to Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. Well one powercouple living next door to another powercouple how can there be no neighbourhood stories? Talking of which recently Anushka Sharma revealed in an interview that Vicky and Katrina had asked her and Virat Kohli to their house for dinner.  The Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi actress has discussed what transpired after the dinner invitation.

Anushka Sharma admitted to being a little socially shy and that she doesn't like attending to parties during an interview with Grazia India. She did, however, mention that she enjoys inviting some friends around for dinner and home-cooked food. Speaking on the same, she claimed that as she's become older, she looks for a connection with the people she spends time with and that she dislikes loud, boisterous gatherings. Anushka claimed that she prefers to spend time with her family and close friends than small talk at loud parties when people are shouting over one another.

Anushka also revealed that she and Virat eat dinner around six o'clock and go to bed at nine thirty. Because of this, Anushka informed Katrina Kaif when she and Vicky Kaushal, their neighbours, invited them over to dinner that they would soon have to leave owing to their early bedtime,  As she recalled their talk, Anushka laughed and said, “So I said [to Katrina], for you we’ll eat at 7-7:30 but we have to leave soon. So she’s like okay, you’ll have dinner and Vicky and me will have snacks.”

Well now we surely know why can't we spot Anushka at late night birthday parties or events.

Talking on her workfront, Anushka Sharma will next be seen in the film Chakda Xpress, in which she will be essaying the titular role of cricketer Jhulan Goswami. She had a special appearance in Tripti Dimri starrer Qala, which was released in December 2022.
