Mumbai experienced its coldest day of the season on Sunday, with the temperature dipping to 13.8 degrees Celsius. Mumbaikars are witnessing a cold wave, the minimum temperature- four degrees below normal- was recorded by the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) Santa Cruz observatory, reported Mid Day. As of 8.30 AM today, the temperature in Mumbai was at 16.4 degrees Celsius, as per IMD’s website. Reportedly the minimum temperature today is forecast to be around 13 degrees Celsius.
The cold spell over the past day has some Mumbai residents enthused, while others want the city to go back to its usual warmth.
Well looks like our B-town celebs are enjoying the cold in the bay. Talking of which Anushka Sharma, Malaika Arora and Karisma Kapoor took to their social media accounts and shared the chilling temperatures as they are loving the season of cold.
Anshuka took to her Instagram stories and wrote, "Shoutout to the Mumbaikars enjoying their monkey caps", while Malaika Arora shared a screenshot of tempretures from Paris (6 degrees), New Delhi (4degrees) , Boston, (-1 degrees), NewYork (1 degrees) and Mumbai (16 degrees) and drew a heart alongside Mumbai. Also Karisma Kapoor shared a screen grab of today morning which flashed, "Mumbai 18 degree".
For the unversed, Santacruz observatory of the IMD reported the minimum temperature in Mumbai as 17 degrees Celsius, while the Colaba reading indicated 20 degrees Celsius.
While talking about the workfront, Sharma will next be seen in the film Chakda Xpress, which is based on the life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami. On the other hand Malaika recently was the talk of the town for her debut webseries Moving In With Malaika.
