The saga of molestation and assault doesn't seem to be taking a stand-still where several television A-listers like Parth Samthaan and Pratyusha Banerjee were a part of these controversies earlier this month.

Another case involving a young actress, Arshima Thapar, best remembered for her role of Kaddy from Ekta Kapoor's 'Bade Acche Lagte Hai' reportedly became the latest victim to this case.

According to a leading news daily, the actress was assaulted on the sets of a show when she returned after having an argument with three production executives.

A source tells, "Arshima was not keeping well, yet she was asked to report early on the set the next day. When she refused, the production executives-Atul Chavan (Production Assistant), Ranbir Singh Chauhan (Production Head) and Akarsh Sharma (Supervising Producer) had an argument with her. She left the set and when she returned after sometime to sort out things, Atul held her by the arm and assaulted her. Arshima, who is epileptic, started shivering and was too shocked to react at what happened."

Amit Behl, Senior Vice President of FWICE and Joint Secretary and Chariman of the Dispute Committee, said, "We will not budge till a ban is imposed on these three executives. It is not just about physical, mental and sexual harassment, but we strongly condemn such acts against women."

In the meantime, Arshima and her father, Dr. Ved Thapar have filed a NC (non-cognizable) complaint at the Malwani police station.
