Star Plus' one-of-a-kind singing reality show 'Dil Hai Hindustani' managed to live up to the expectations as it proposed a unique concept of global singers going 'desi' in the show singing Hindi chartbusters.

And just like the show was a success, the finale was even bigger and saw an array of celebrities which include Sonakshi Sinha, Daler Mehendi among many more coming in and performing.

The wait finally ended with the winner being announced...and that was none other than Haitham Mohammed Rafi from Oman.

Yes! That's right. The spirited singer won the title and Euphoni and Barnali band were the runners up.

Haitham also received a prize money of Rs 25 lakhs.
