Ananya Panday to romance Varun Sood in 'Call me Bae'; Neelam Kothari denies playing her mom?

By now, everyone is aware that actor Ananya Panday will shortly appear in the long-form series, Call me Bae. According to what we've heard, she will romance not one, but four men throughout the course of the series. Varun Sood, a famous reality star, is one of the four.

Aa per the latest reports, Varun portrays a fitness instructor in the show. This is supposed to be Varun's major undertaking. Varun was chosen to play this character after competing against a number of other performers. He will soon fill in the blanks. Sood was last seen in a cameo role in the film 'Jug Jugg Jeeyo'. He was  also a part of 'Ragini MMS Returns.'

While the search for the other guys continues, it was also reported that Neelam Kothari was approached by the cast to play Panday's mother but she declined. It's interesting to note that Bhavana Panday, Panday's mother, and Kothari are good friends. As per reports, she didn't express it clearly, but we all assume that the reason is that she doesn't want to play a mother. We're looking for other performers right now, it concluded. 

When Hindustan Times reached Neelam, she addressed the situation and said, “Things are at a very preliminary stage. I’ve not even read the script yet. All I know is that I’ve been offered to play Ananya’s mother. So I’ve not accepted it or denied it yet. It would be amazing to work with Karan (Johar, producer) gain and play Ananya’s mom.”

Meanwhile, Ananya Panday will next be seen in 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahan', and 'Dream Girl 2'.
