Ananya Panday opens up about relationships and 'situationships' amidst Aditya Roy Kapur rumors

In the world of Bollywood, whispers of romance often captivate the headlines, and the latest murmurs surrounding Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur have certainly stirred the gossip mill. The duo has been the subject of dating rumors since last year, prompting fans and media alike to speculate about their alleged relationship.

Aditya Roy Kapur, known for his enigmatic charm, added fuel to the speculation when he appeared on Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan season 8. When probed about the rumored romance with Ananya Panday, Aditya coined the term 'situationship' during the candid conversation. 

On the other side of the coin, Ananya Panday, in an interview with India Today, expressed her disapproval of this modern dating concept. She candidly stated, "I hate situationships. I don't like that term only. Also, I'm not on a dating app and nor do I talk about my relationships on social media. I'm not someone who will pretend to have a different relationship status just for the sake of social media."

The Koffee With Karan episode saw Karan Johar teasing Aditya with the dating rumors, to which the actor responded with a playful twist. "You see Karan, you said on your show – ask me no secrets and I'll tell you no lies." Karan, ever the witty host, referred to Ananya as "Ananya Coy Kapur," to which Aditya quirkily added, "And I am Aditya Joy Kapur, as of now." 

Ananya and Aditya, often spotted together in Mumbai, recently fueled more speculations as they were seen jetting off for what seemed like a New Year's vacation. Despite numerous candid photos from their international escapades circulating online, both actors are yet to officially confirm their relationship.

While Aditya gears up for his next project, Anurag Basu's Metro... In Dino, Ananya is riding high on the success of Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, receiving accolades for her performance. The film is currently streaming on Netflix.
