Ananya Panday misses her grandmother; shares a heartfelt post!

In a shocking turn of events, Bollywood actor Chunky Panday’s mother and Ananya Panday’s grandmother Snehlata Pandey passed away on July 10. The actress shared a close bond with her grandmother and recently took to her Instagram handle to share a heartfelt note for her 'dadi'.

The 'Student of the Year 2' actress took to her Instagram stories to re-share the post of her dad Chunky Panday. He captioned the post as, ''M stands for Mother, you can never get Another. Dr Snehalata Panday my Mother, always told me this when I was a naughty Kid. I Realize it now. Will Miss You MOM ?''. Sharing her dad's post, Ananya wrote, “Miss you Dadi”.

On the other hand, Ananya's cousin Alanna Panday recently penned a heart-touching note for her late granny. She wrote, 

“Yesterday I lost one of my favourite humans in the entire world. We called you dadi but you were more like a second mother to us, the true backbone of the family.

You were the strongest & bravest women I’ve ever known -My grandmother was born with a defected heart and came out completely blue, the doctors told her mother she wouldn’t survive past a few months- But you did, you fought every single day with a smile on your face for 87 years!

I wish you could read this right now so I could tell you how much I love you- it breaks my heart that I wasn’t there to say our last goodbyes or hold your hand when it happened. Rest in peace ??????”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ananya Panday's fans can look forward to seeing her in the Pan-India film Liger alongside Vijay Deverakonda. Her other upcoming project is an untitled Shakun Batra helmed movie alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Deepika Padukone.

According to the reports, Ananya was shooting for a talk show in Mumbai when her grandmother left for her heavenly abode. After completing the shoot, the actress rushed to her grandmother’s house to catch her last glimpse.
