Ananya & Ishaan's 'Khaali Peeli' To Have a Digital Release on Gandhi Jayanti; Shoot Still Left

In wake of constant flak that projects starring starkids continue to receive, that turned out to be the case yet again as the trailer of Khaali Peeli was released a couple of days ago. The immense flak and dislikes continued to pour in for the teaser trailer of this film too and it continues to trend for the wrong reasons. 

Nevertheless, the film is also the latest entrant in the list of films that will be receiving a digital release in wake of the current pandemic. In fact, reports suggest that the film is almost ready, where just a day of shooting left. Once that will be over, the film will be ready for release and will actually be releasing on an OTT platform on 2nd October 2020, i.e. Gandhi Jayanti.

A source told Pinkvilla, "The banner has locked Gandhi Jayanti (October 2) as the release date for Khaali Peeli. Zee Studios will stream it only on their home grown platform exclusively."

They further added, " Ananya and Ishaan will film those scenes in a controlled set up in the coming few days, mostly in the first week of September. The shoot will be concluded in Mumbai following all safety guidelines."
