Sab TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah recently landed into a controversy post their recent episode where they said that Hindi is the prominent language in the city. This statement was not received well by the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and Ameya Kopkar issued a warning note for the makers and the Actor. Have a look:

He stated that while portraying a character, he performs whatever is demanded by the scriptwriters. He also mentioned that he personally respects Marathi Language and is proud of it. He added that he would like to wholeheartedly apologise for his mistake.
Along with him, Producer Asit Kumarr Modi also issued an apology on his social media account. Have a look:
