Ranbir Kapoor turns a year older today. Ranbir's girlfriend Alia Bhatt marked the special occasion by sharing a short and sweet post about the actor and it'll tug at your heartstrings.

Alia took to her Instagram account to wish the birthday boy. She shared a cute photo and wrote an aww-worthy caption with a bunch of emojis, "Happy Birthday Sunshine".

Though Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt haven't opened up about their relationship, their parents have often expressed their fondness for their kid's choice.

Despite all the rumours, Alia and Ranbir are often spotted together. Recently, we saw Alia attending a house party at Ranbir's residence. Karan Johar shared a photo from the party and it featured Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Also, Alia has been clicked with Ranbir's family on many occasions.

Alia and Ranbir marked his 36th birthday with a family dinner on Thursday with their mothers Soni Razdan and Neetu Singh Kapoor.
