Alia Bhatt's First Look from Gangubai Kathiawadi Revealed!

Today, Alia Bhatt released the first look from her upcoming film - Gangubai Kathiawadi and the fans have been excited for the same. The actress will be seen playing the titular role of a mafia queen in the film.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Gangubai Kathiawadi is based on the life of Mumbai's mafia boss Gangubai Kathiawadi, who was a sex worker and eventually became an underworld don in Mumbai. Gangubai Kathiawadi is said to be based on a portion of author Hussain Zaidi's book Mafia Queens Of Mumbai.

Bhansali Productions took to social media to release the first look posters of Gangubai Kathiawadi. The posters show Alia Bhatt in two different looks.

The first look featured Alia as a young girl with two pigtails with ribbons. She can be seen wearing a blouse and a skirt with bangles on her wrists and a gun can be seen placed on a table near Alia.

In the next poster, Alia looks a little matured sporting a big red bindi. She has her nose pierced and wears a traditional Kathiawadi nose ring. A big choker is spotted on her neck. Her eyes loaded with kajal look resplendent.

The shooting began in December last year and taking to her Instagram handle the 26-year-old actress shared a picture of her vanity van which had Gangubai sticker on it. Along with the picture, she wrote, "Look what Santa gave me this year."
