Alia Bhatt on her pregnancy: the first few weeks were slightly difficult; had major exhaustion & nausea

Alia Bhat had an exhilarating 2022. The actress shined in her professional front and took some major steps of her life personally. She also embraced motherhood the same year. Ranbir kapoor and Alia welcomed their baby daughter on 6th November.

While Alia was pregnant, she didn't realy stop working for the early months. She was seen promoting her film Brahmastra and also wrapped up the filming of her Hollywood project 'Heart Of Stone'.

She disclosed in a recent interview that she decided to keep her pregnancy a secret for the first 12 weeks after being advised to do so. She had to exert extra effort, nevertheless, to finish her professional obligations while caring for her body and the baby.

The actress spoke with Bombay Times about the time when Alia was seen working day and night with her baby bump. 

She said, 

"From the very beginning, I told myself that only if I was comfortable, will I push myself. Touchwood, my pregnancy didn’t hold me back physically. Yes, the first few weeks were slightly difficult as I had major exhaustion and nausea, but at that time, I didn’t talk about it because you are not supposed to say anything for the first 12 weeks, right? That’s what everybody says, so I had to keep that information to myself, but I was listening to my body."

She also talked about filming for Heart Of Stone and said, 

"Heart of Stone is my first Hollywood movie, which I signed in January 2022. I tried hard to work out that schedule, so I didn’t want to back off. I talked to the team and they assured me that they will take good care of me and it was great. I managed to shoot my first action film while I was pregnant! That is a story I will tell for years because it also makes you realize how much your body is capable of if you just put your mind to it.”

Apart from this Alia will next be seen in the film 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani'.
