Alia Bhatt lost Big Projects due to Inshallah; Miffed with Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali!

Ever since the official announcement of Inshallah, not only the audience but even the movies leads were excited for the project. The movie was a collaboration between Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali after 20 years and Alia Bhatt was over the moon to be a part of such a project.

She had even expressed her excitement saying, “It's a big dream come true to work with Sanjay sir and Salman. They are like a magical combination together. I can't wait to get on the journey. It's going to be quite magical."

A few days back, Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production houses took to their official social media handles and announced the sad news of Inshallah being shelved indefinitely due to creative differences between the filmmaker and Bollywood’s Bhaijaan. Even though both SLB and Salman have taken the decision of parting sportingly, looks like Alia Bhatt is still upset with the decision.

The 26-year-old actress, who was excited to work with Khan and Bhansali, was left heart-broken because not only did she lose a chance to work with both of them but she also lost out on many big banner projects. As per a source, quoted by TOI, Alia had to reject a film with Aamir Khan as she had her dates reserved for Inshallah. 

The source revealed, “Alia Bhatt was approached for a film with Aamir Khan. However, she had to decline the offer as she had reserved all the dates for Inshallah.” 

The source further added that the Highway actress was looking forward for the collaboration. They said, “Alia was looking forward to collaborating with Salman and SLB. The actress is very upset as she gave up on various other projects too, during the period.”

Even though Alia has lost on such a big project, she still has her kitty full with many big budget movies like Karan Johar’s Takht, Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, Magnum Opus RRR and Sadak 2. 

Talking about Takht, Karan Johar had once shared, “Takht is like K3G of the Mughal era. But it’s more extreme, there is more betrayal. It has the tropes of court politics. It’s so rich in texture.”

Takht is a multi-starrer periodic drama, directed by Karan himself, the movie stars big names like Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Bhumi Pednekar. The movie is set to release in December 2020.
