Alia Bhatt evokes nostalgic vibes with roses in her hair for Gangubai promotions

Since the trailer of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi released, fans have been going gaga over it and are desperately waiting for the film to hit the silver screens. 

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is promoting her film Gangubai Kathiawadi all the way and she's doing it in style. The actress shared one of her breathtaking outfits on her Instagram on Tuesday morning, and she looked just gorgeous. Alia chose a lovely white and ivory saree that gave off nostalgic feelings.

The Raazi actress' stylist took a cue from her character and went for a throwback look, with the actress wearing fresh red flowers in her hair. The roses appear in the film on multiple occasions as Gangubai's character wears it as a hair ornament and holds it in her palm.

Alia captioned a series of images she shared on Instagram, 

"AA RAHI HAIN GANGU Sirf cinema main - 25th February Se.” 

The fans flooded the the post with love-struck and heart emojis, expressing their admiration for Alia's appearance in the comments.

Alia has started posting stills and clips from Gangubai Kathiawadi on social media. After repeated delays owing to the pandemic, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed film will finally enter theatres on February 25. It will also have its world premiere at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival and a Telugu release on February 25.

Let us tell you, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, Shantanu Maheshwari, Jim Sarbh, Varun Kapoor, and Indira Tiwari will also act in the film, which is based on a chapter from Hussain Zaidi's novel Mafia Queens of Mumbai.
