Alia Bhatt amid the release of 'Heart of Stone': Acting in English felt weird as I am used to talking in Hindi

Bollywood's powerhouse performer, Alia Bhatt, is all set to take the international stage by storm as she makes her highly-anticipated Hollywood debut with the upcoming Netflix film, Heart of Stone. Starring alongside the talented Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan, Alia is all set to portray a formidable villain in this gripping spy thriller. As she continues to bask in the success of her recent Bollywood release, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Alia is gearing up to showcase her versatile acting prowess on the global platform.

In a recent interview, the actress candidly shared her experience of working on her first Hollywood project. While Alia is well-versed in English, she admitted that acting in English for the first time felt a bit strange. On day one of filming, the transition from Hindi to English lines presented an initial challenge. However, Alia quickly adapted to the language and aced her performance with her characteristic finesse.

Despite the minor language adjustment, Alia found solace in the familiar filmmaking process, which she believes remains consistent across borders. Speaking about the film set, Alia expressed, "The process of a film set world over is exactly the same." Her ease and comfort on the set allowed her to focus on delivering a captivating performance and immersing herself in her character, Keya Dhawan, the villainous mastermind.

It's noteworthy that Alia filmed Heart of Stone during her pregnancy with her baby Raha Kapoor. Her dedication and commitment to her craft are evident as she balanced her personal and professional life seamlessly. 

Despite having limited screen time in the trailer, Alia is unperturbed, emphasizing that what truly matters is how the story unfolds and captivates the audience. 

As Heart of Stone gears up to premiere on Netflix on August 11, fans and movie enthusiasts alike are eagerly awaiting Alia Bhatt's international debut.
