Zee TV is all set to introduce its latest weekend primetime offering, a first-of-its-kind, comedy Bollywood game show 'Movie-Masti With Maniesh Paul’ and we can’t keep calm! Hosted by the inimitable Maniesh Paul – one of the most versatile actors and acclaimed anchors of India and a crazy, quirky, Bollywood-obsessed family inspired by every Hindi movie stereotype, the game show will unravel the unseen, unscripted and flawsome side of Bollywood’s hottest celebrities.
The Saturday episode of the upcoming weekend will see 90’s stars Suniel Shetty and Raveena Tandon reunite after a decade to participate in the hottest game show of the season and to test their Bollywood Quotient (BQ). While on the show and taking on all the tasks and challenges, the star duo had hilarious interactions with the show’s fully filmy family of pranksters including a melodramatic CineMaa – played (Ali Asgar), a seductive Padosan Bhabhi (Roshni Chopra), a wheeler-dealer of a manager (Paritosh Tripathi) and a villainous-father (Balraj Sayal).
In the episode, CineMaa (Ali Asgar) turned flirtatious with her favourite hero from the 90s, wishing him good luck with a wink and a pooja ki thali while also tying a red dhaaga (sacred thread) to keep him from the evil eyes of dushman team (Raveena’s team). As a part of one of the tasks, Suniel had to balance himself while walking across a see-saw. Seeking his attention, CineMaa went ahead to romance him on the see-saw as the song Ae Jaate Hue Lamhe played along in the background. Unfortunately, Ali (CineMaa) lost balance and fell off the other end of the board, injuring his foot.
The crew rushed to his rescue and administered quick first aid. A few minutes later, a sporting Ali Asgar was back on stage, returning to shoot like a thorough professional!
