Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, currently shooting his upcoming film in Dehradun, recently took a break from the set to engage in his favorite sport, volleyball. Candid pictures of the actor playing the sport with the Uttarakhand Police surfaced on social media, quickly going viral. Dressed casually in a black T-shirt, blue trousers, and sneakers, Akshay enthusiastically joined in the game, attracting a crowd of onlookers who cheered him on. The actor appeared joyful and engaged, seen clapping and exchanging smiles with fellow players.

These delightful snapshots were shared on Instagram along with a caption highlighting Akshay Kumar's volleyball session during his time in Dehradun for his film shoot. Adding to his eventful week, Akshay also paid a visit to the renowned Kedarnath temple in Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag district. The 55-year-old actor, arriving by helicopter, made a barefoot trek from the helipad to the sacred Himalayan temple to participate in a special 'puja'.

Dressed in a black T-shirt and track pants, Akshay attracted a group of fans who eagerly followed him into the temple premises. Upon exiting, he graciously greeted the fans and expressed his overwhelming experience. Taking to Instagram, the actor shared a picture of the majestic temple and captioned it, "Jai Baba Bholenath" (hail Lord Shiva).

Following his temple visit, Akshay Kumar also had a meeting with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. During their interaction, CM Dhami presented the actor with a traditional shawl and memento. They discussed the potential for developing Uttarakhand as a new hub for the film industry. Akshay also shared his heartfelt experience visiting the Kedarnath temple with CM Dhami, appreciating the state government's efforts to enhance facilities for pilgrims at Shri Kedarnath Dham.

Apart from his recent endeavors, Akshay Kumar has an exciting lineup of films in the pipeline. He will star in "OMG- Oh My God 2" alongside Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam, with the official release date yet to be announced. Additionally, the actor will feature in an action thriller titled "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan," directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, sharing the screen with Tiger Shroff.
