"Agar main ghar jaake aise act karta to meri biwi (Alia) muje maarti" - Ranbir on his 'Animal' character

It can safely be said that the trailer of Animal has created an uproar on social media ever since it was released. From being filed with shocking and almost flinching moments to having Ranbir Kapoor in an avatar that one has not at all seen in him before - the promises were delivered, at least when it comes to having a kickass trailer.

A grand trailer launch took place in Delhi and the stars of the film were there to interact with the fans as well. Interestingly, at the same event, Kapoor revealed that his daughter, with wife, Alia Bhatt, Raha, was born during the shoot, and since his character in Animal was so dark and intense, it became imperative to switch on and switch off.

He said, “The switching on and switching off part was very important because when I was starting Animal, I became a father. Raha was born. I was going on set, doing all these things and going home and seeing my daughter was surreal. When you’re inspired, aapka kaam aasani se ho jaata hai (When you’re inspired, you are able to do your work easily). We wrapped the film in almost 100 days.”

He further revealed on a lighter note that he is a very detached person, and he never takes his character home, as it isn't fair to his loved ones. Agar main ghar jaake aise act karta toh meri biwi mujhe maarti (If I acted like this at home, my wife would have beaten me up).

As known, Kapoor and Bhatt gave birth to Raha back in November 2022.

When it comes to Animal, the film is set to have a worldwide release on 1st December 2023 and is clocking over 3 hours and 21 minutes of runtime. It also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles and is directed by Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh fame, Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
