After 13 years, Dharmendra, Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol to reunite for Apne 2

The Deol trio Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol featured together in the movie Apne back in 2007. The sports drama also starred Katrina Kaif, Shilpa Shetty, and Kirron Kher in the lead roles and was a success at the box office.

And now after 13 years, the trio is reuniting for the sequel Apne 2. As per a report in Times of India, the sequel is all set to go on floors next year.

Reportedly, Anil Sharma who had also helmed its prequel will also direct the second instalment. The script has been locked so far and the movie will go on floors in either March or April 2021. The team is yet to decide on the balanced cast for the sequel. The report also adds that the shooting schedule will take place in Mumbai and London. 

Speaking of Apne, the film saw Dharmendra portraying the role of an ex-boxer Baldev Chaudhary who wants his real and reel life sons Sunny and Bobby aka Angad and Karan, respectively, to carry forward the legacy.
