Abrar Qazi states he feels a sense of void post his character coming to an end

Star Plus' show Yeh Hai Chahatein has gone ahead to be one of the most popular shows on the channel. The show has always been topping the TRP charts and has managed to secure a spot in the top 5 shows on the charts. Recently, post a generation leap, Sargun Kaur Luthra and Abrar Qazi, the lead characters of the show called it quits and made an exit from the show. Post their exit, Pravisht Mishra and Shagun Sharma were roped in as the new leads of the show. 

Abrar Qazi, who essayed the character of Rudra/Samrat in the show took to his Instagram handle today and looked back at his journey in the show. He stated how initially he was unsure about playing his character in the show efficiently and how slowly the character grew on him. He further stated that now that his character has come to an end, he has been feeling a void in him but at the same time he also feels a sense of calm and wants to now take a break and enjoy the simple things in life. 

Abrar wrote, ''A journey that started 3 years back for me has finally come to its destination. Honestly never thought i would be able to pull this off.when we started, I was nervous, excited and apprehensive about things to come but slowly and steadily, i grew with this role and made this character my own.I was living a parallel life everyday playing Rudra/samrat and it has become a huge part of me. Now that it is over, i feel a void in me but at the same time there is a sense of calm and excitement for things to come. As of now i want to take some time out for myself and enjoy the simple things in life.

It had been an honor to be a part of this show and working with balaji telefilms and all the brilliant actors who i got a chance to share screen with. Much love to the fans who gave me all the strength and motivation to work harder.
