A quiet Durga Puja for Papia Sengupta!

A hearty and soulful Bengali from Mumbai, actress Papia Sengupta loves everything about her Bengali culture - from the music to the art and from the food habits to the literature. But with Durga Puja around the corner, a part of her is extremely disheartened.

The actress, who will soon be seen in the upcoming Star Plus historical megadrama Chandra Nandini, lost her father on August 26th, and hence will not be celebrating Durga Puja this year.

On being asked, she said "This year, I don't think I'll be able to be a part of the celebration. Usually, Durga Puja means shopping, pandal hopping and a lot of joy. But, this year I just don't feel up to it. Maybe if I get an off from shoot one of the days, I'll just go to one of the pandals and offer my prayers. But, that's it for pujo."
