It's Komo who gave Mr. B the reason he was looking for, to enter the Basu's life and thus being indirectly the reason to have facilitated PreRish.
Someone had helped Komo with her hospital expenses and when Mr.B mahaan bankar was leaving AnuPre's life, it was shown Ronit receiving a call informing them of AnuPre marriage.
Throughout the ML phase, Bajaj was nowhere to be seen when Komo hatched plans to harm or kill Prerna. Because he never loved Pre; Pre was only a 'thing' which he wanted Anu not to have her, as she was a rare collection and because of his vengeance on Basus.
So finally, when he got a chance to complete the revenge on Basus and have Pre, the rare collection, completely on his side, why should he let it go. So, he decided to join hands with Komo.....probably from the time Sneha needed blood. He or Komo would have arranged blood from somewhere else and Bajaj would have signed the papers. And their plan would have been to cause misunderstanding between AnuPre about Sneha's paternity and use it in their favor. But their plan failed as Anu brought her back to BB. Rest of the story we know.
And this also explains where the divers disappeared, how Mr.B appeared right under the bridge and why Anu hates Mr.B - Because, he had joined hands with Komo to separate AnuPre, which probably Anu came to know only after seeing Mr.B with Pre in the farmhouse. And that also explains why Anu was convinced that Sneha will reach Pre safely, as he believed that, since Mr.B is involved, he will ensure Pre & Sneha would be safe and that Komo will not backstab him further, as KomoJaj would be happy with Anu sending away Pre & Sneha from his life. Also, the reason why he lived a slave's life with Komo all these 8yrs, because he knew KomoJaj are together in the plan and he didn't want to risk Pre's life again. Because, he has seen kis had thak gir sakthe hai Mr.B to ruin Anu's life - the man whose body was found in the factory, trying to kill Anu by speeding the car, trying to kill Moloy, the Mask-Knife stunt are just few examples.
I hope this is what CVs will be showing us. If not, Anu trusting a person who tried to harm him and his family with Pre and Sneha's safety and directly taking his help, is not a good idea. Kyonki, Mr.B's confidante, Mr.Mehra and his maasi themselves have hinted that Mr.B is not a person who will change himself for anyone. And his behavior with Kukki is the latest proof that he is just a self-obsessed person.
