Part 1

Present day

Raavi skipped to Pandya Niwas early in the morning. The sun hadn't yet risen when she had. She smiled secretively as she reached the door of the house. Dhara di was sure to have woken up. She knocked. And the door was opened by Dhara within two minutes. Dhara's puzzlement melted into a soft smile as she saw Raavi standing on the doorstep.

"Dhara diiii!" Raavi squealed excitedly and hugged Dhara. "Kaisi hain aap?"

"Main theek hoon bacche! Pan tu? Itne savere? Sab theek che?"

"Haan Dhara di!" Raavi replied. "Woh aaj..." She began but looked down shyly. Dhara smiled at her in confusion.

"Kya hua?" Dhara asked. Raavi looked towards the cots where the three younger Pandya brothers were sleeping. Dhara turned back and then smiled as she turned towards Raavi again. "Dev ke liye aayi hai?" Raavi looked away shyly. "Aaj koi special din hai jo itni subah subah aa gayi? Aaj uska birthday to nahin hai. To fir?"

"Woh... Dhara di... Maine suna hai ki kuch vrat rakhungi to mujhe bhi man chaha saathi mil jayega. Aur aaj mera pehla vrat hoga to suna hai, jiske liye ye rakh rahi hoon, usi ke saath saari rasam karne se, aur zyada effective hoga. Isliye main yahan aa gayi!" Raavi informed her shyly. Dhara smiled at the girl. She liked Raavi a lot. Raavi was a sweet and simple soul and Dhara enjoyed her company.

"Theek che. Tu karle apne mann ki murad poori. Fir qismat mein jo likha hai woh mil hi jaayega." Dhara told her sweetly as she brought Raavi in.

"Itni subeh subeh? Yahan kya kar rahi hai?" Suman asked Raavi who Smiled widely and turned to look towards the cots once again. Dhara laughed as Suman shook her head in exasperation. There was obsession and then there was Raavi. "Chalo samajh gayi." Suman replied and wheeled her chair away. Dhara laughed once again at the besotted look Raavi gave to the occupants of the cots and went towards the kitchen.

Raavi went straight towards the cots.

"Dev!!!" She shouted excitedly. All the three occupants were rudely awakened. Krish fell off his cot. Shiva mumbled something angrily and Dev just removed the blanket and watched her pleadingly. The sun hadn't yet risen and she was here to irritate them. Dev shook his head as he closed his eyes. "Utho na Dev! Mujhe tumhari help chahiye!" Raavi chirped.

"Aye Maami ki behen ki beti! Kuch to sharam kar! Subah subah mun utha kar aa jaati hai apni kaddu jaisi shakal lekar! Zra sa to soch! Normal log is time pe sote hain!" Shiva ranted angrily. Raavi huffed.

"O! Excuse me! Kaddu kise bola? Main Somnath ki sabse sundar ladki hoon! Kaddu hoga tu! Aur mere is excitement ki aadat daal le! Mujhe yahin aana hai shaadi ke baad! To abhi se tayyar ho ja! Waise bhi aaj mujhe tujhse koi jhagda nahin karna." Raavi replied. Shiva growled and got off his cot. He wasn't going to get anymore sleep now because of this alarm clock. She could give the roosters a run for their money. She was the most effective alarm clock there ever was. Ugh!

"Aa gayi mera din barbaad karne!" He mumbled as he walked away towards the bathroom. Meanwhile Krish was watching them both drowsily from the floor.

"Aur lado. Time wime to kuch nahin dekhte. Bas shuru ho jate ho!"

"Krish! Hone wali bhabhi ko aise kon kehta hai Hmm!?" Raavi admonished sweetly. Dev made a face. He needed to get far away from this drama. He couldn't bear this so early in the morning. He needed at least three more hours of sleep if he had to take on cheerful Raavi today. His day was already not going good. So the moment Raavi turned towards the kitchen, Dev picked up his pillow and blankets and rushed upstairs. He would come down later.

Krish yawned and followed Raavi to the kitchen where Dhara was already working. Raavi helped Dhara as she spoke non stop.

“To pehle mujhe vrat rakhna hoga, Dev ke haathon se khakar! Use khilana hoga mujhe.” Raavi told Dhara who nodded and smiled at her. Raavi picked a poori and a little sabzi in a plate as she walked out again. Krish narrowed his eyes as he watched her go.

“Dev? Dev??? Deeevvvv?” Raavi was shouting as she walked all around the house searching for him. She was losing precious time.

“Abey O raaton ko jaag kar dusron ki neend kharab karne wali Chudail!” She heard from behind her and turned to see the infamous Bhoothnath standing there, in track pants. He was wiping his hair with a towel. “Chillana band karegi?” He glowered. Raavi huffed after she blushed crimson. He was a sight to behold but only until he kept his mouth shut.

“Tujhe kya?” She shot at him. “Main apne Dev ko dhoondh rahi hoon. Aaj na mera vrat hai.” She told him shyly as she looked away. He frowned.

“Kaisa vrat?”

“Man chaha saathi paane ke liye vrat.” Raavi informed him and then saw him clench his jaw angrily. “Ye vrat ke kuch rasam hain, kuch niyam. Aur pehli rasam ye hai ki Dev ko mujhe apne haathon se khilana hoga. Isiliye to main Dev ko dhoondh rahi hoon. Kahin mera time up na ho jaye.” She ignored his increasing temper and turned towards the empty cots once again. “Abhi to yahan tha. Kahan chala gaya?” She searched. Shiva muttered something angrily as he walked towards her and fed her the whole poori while she was forced to swallow hastily to avoid suffocation.

“Saaf saaf keh! Ki Maami khana nahin khilati isliye to pandya niwas khane ke liye aa jati hai roz naye naye bahane banakar.” Shiva growled angrily. Raavi swallowed the last morsel and watched him furiously.

“Aye Gadhedhe! Tujhe nahin Dev ko khilana tha yeh poori!”

“Accha hai! Tere vrat ki aisi ki taisi kar di! Tujhe kaha tha na Pandya niwas ke sapne dekhne chod de! Main nahin hone dunga teri shaadi Dev se! Tu kisi aur ko maang le.” Shiva told her angrily as he walked towards the kitchen followed by Raavi who was irritated.

Krish watched them both and shook his head. He needed peace in his life and he would never attain it until these both stopped their war. If he couldn’t have peace he would have entertainment instead. He smiled as he observed them both.

Raavi washed the plate as she complained to Dhara di, who was scolding Shiva, who in turn was rolling his eyes at Raavi angrily.

“Koi baat nahin Raavi! Tu agli rasam kar le. Ja Dev ke saath diya jalake aur paani chadake aa!” Dhara said as she handed Raavi a diya. Raavi nodded and with a huge smile accepted the Diya. She gave a huge mocking smile to Shiva as she exited the kitchen. Shiva narrowed his eyes and before his Bhabhi could stop him walked out of the kitchen following Raavi.

Raavi stood in the courtyard as she watched the lightening sky and placed the diya near the well. She had to light it with Dev. Actually Dev had to light it as she held it. She looked towards his cot again and pouted.

“Krish!! Jaa Dev ko dhoondh ke la please!” She called out loudly as she fiddled with the diya and the matchsticks. Krish sighed but one look from Dhara from the kitchen made him to nod and walk away from his perch.

Shiva walked out and stood there as he watched his maami ki behen ki beti wait for Dev. He smirked. Oh she thought she could complete these rituals with Dev? He would never ever allow her entry into his home. He walked towards her and angrily swiped the matchstick from her hand and threw it in the well. She growled. How dare he? Then she smiled at him and showed him the entire matchstick box. Shiva snatched the box and angrily took out a stick as he lit the diya in her hand. She watched him in horror as a smirk lit up his face. He walked away missing the look on her face.

She walked to Dhara in anger and complained once again.

“Shiva!!” Dhara called out. She was fed up of her devar.

“Ji bhabhi?” Shiva enquired.

“Kyun sata raha hai use? Bas bahut ho gaya! Ab ye rasam theek se ho iske liye tu khud use guard karega! Kuch bhi ghalat hua to main tujhe iske liye saza dungi! Samjha?” Shiva huffed but nodded.

So when Raavi stood near the well, waiting for Krish to bring Dev. Shiva stood resting his back on the pillar nearest to the well, watching Raavi in boredom.

“Mann to karta hai ki isi kuwen mein isko phenk doon. Par fir Pandya Niwas mein paani ke laale pad jayenge!” Shiva muttered angrily. Raavi was twirling her hair with her fingers and smiling at Shiva mockingly. Shiva looked away disinterested.

“Raavi… Maine poora ghar chaana, but Dev nahin mila.” Krish informed her as he walked back. Dhara exited the kitchen.

“Jaane de Raavi. Time ho raha hai. Ye rasam tu akele hi kar le.” Dhara informed her and walked towards Suman’s room. Raavi nodded and then took the kalash of water in her hand and with a soft smile turned towards the well. Due to the wet floor, her foot slipped and she began to fall over.

“Raavi!” Krish shouted. Shiva jumped into action as he reached her just in time and held her waist and her flailing hand that was holding the kalash just as she inverted the kalash into the well, pouring the water inside.

Dhara and Suman who rushed outside watched them both as they watched each other. Shiva righted her as she watched him with wide eyes.

“Aye Gadhedhi! Dhyaan kahan hai tera? Marne ka itna hi shauk hai to apne ghar pe ja! Yahan marne ki zaroorat nahin hai!” Shiva grumbled angrily as he pulled her away from the well. “Subah subah aa jati hai bheja khane! Pata hai na vrat mein kuch nahin kha sakte! Bheja bhi nahin. Tere liye ye bahut mushkil hoga hai na?” Raavi pushed him slightly.

“Kaha na! Aadat daal le. Main saari zindagi tera peecha nahin chodungi.” Raavi declared strongly. Dhara and Suman shook their heads. All of them were distracted by a tearing sound and turned to see Krish open a packet of chips as he watched Shiva and Raavi fight.

“Aye Gadhedhe! Kya kar raha hai tu?” Shiva asked walking towards him angrily.

“Ab agar shaanti bhang honi hi hai to fir main is ashanti ko enjoy karna chahta hoon.” Krish told them calmly. Shiva picked up the packet to throw it away but found it snatched from his hand.

“Use mat sata!” Raavi said as she handed the chips back to Krish who smiled at her happily.

“Tu best hai!” Krish told her. She smiled and high-fived him.

“Main agar is ghar mein aayi to tujhe is Bhoothnath se bachaungi. Soch tera kitna faida hoga!” She told him. Krish fell in thought but was brought to the present by Shiva who lightly smacked his head.

“Sochna bhi mat! Ye chipkali yahan aayi to main kisi ko chain se jeene nahin dunga! Mera chain bhang karke koi chain se nahin baithega yahan.” He warned.

And so their war continued as they traded insults back and forth until Shiva left for the store after breakfast. Raavi too went back to her home, after Dev came down sleepily and she requested him to come home early today to break her fast, according to the rituals, after she complained about his absence initially. Dev just smiled at her wanly.

It was already night time. Raavi had been in Pandya Niwas since the evening. Shiva had come home for some work in the evening and watched Raavi napping on his cot. He frowned and went straight to the kitchen.

“Bhabhi? Ye Maami ki behen ki beti yahan kya kar rahi hai? Woh bhi mere khaat par?” He started. Dhara rolled her eyes.

“Shiva woh pehle hi thaki hui hai. Use chod de akela!” She warned.

“Thaki hui hai matlab? Abhi bhi vrat ka bhooth nahin utra?” He asked in surprise. He had thought a bhukkad like Raavi wouldn’t be able to stay away from food for more than a couple of hours.

“Nahin. Tu janta nahin hai kya uske pagalpan ko?” Dhara asked him seriously. He sighed and shook his head in disbelief walking away. He had worked to do.

After he finished his work, he went back to the store, only to return in some time. When he arrived Raavi was still on his cot. He walked towards her.

“Aye chipkali dekh chipkali!” He shouted. Raavi jumped up from his cot with a shriek and hugged him as she looked all around fearfully. Shiva laughed.

“Kahan hai Chipkali Shiva?” She asked anxiously.

“Yahin hai. Mujhe pakda hua hai.” He replied. Raavi narrowed her eyes at him and hit his arms angrily. He laughed. “Chal! Tu bhi kya yaad rakhegi ki kis dildaar se paala pada hai. Le! Enjoy kar.” He told her as he placed a chocolate in her hand. He had two reasons to do so. One was because he didn’t want her to complete her vrat. He was doing a service for his family whose peace she would destroy if she came in as a bahu. And secondly, he would refuse to admit this if you ever asked, he was worried for her.

Raavi’s eyes twinkled at the chocolates and she watched him with happy tears.

“Thank you Shiva. Pan main ye nahin le sakti. Ye vrat mere liye bahut zaroori hai. Apne aap se bhi zyada.” She told him softly, unlike herself. He stilled. The look in her eyes was pulling him in. He shook himself to free himself from her hold. When she did things like this he felt a little jealous of his own brother who took this level of love for granted. He had never seen Dev reciprocate her actions. Dev wasn’t interested and any bystander could tell you that but not this chipkali. She behaved like Dev was the only man in the world. He shook his head irritatedly and kept the chocolate back in his pocket, walking away. He failed to notice the regretful eyes that followed him.

When night arrived at Pandya Niwas, it saw an absent Dev and a restless Raavi who was watching the door for his arrival. Shiva arrived home with Gaumbhi and watched Raavi walking back and forth in the courtyard. He frowned.

“Tu abhi bhi yahin hai?” He asked.

“Dev nahin aaya abhi tak…” She replied. He grumbled something and walked away towards the bathroom. She watched him anxiously as she spied the darkness of the sky. Her fast needed to be broken long ago. But it was ok she could wait.

Shiva freshened up and settled at the dining table. Dhara served him and Gaumbhi dinner as she smiled at them and then turned towards Raavi anxiously. She tried Dev’s number again but found it switched off.

“Laparwahi ki hadd hoti hai.” She muttered angrily. “Agar aama nahin tha to subah bol deta gadhedha! Khwamakha Raavi ko wait kara raha hai. Kya use nahin pata ki ye kitni ziddi hai?” She sighed. “Raavi!” She called out. Raavi turned towards her. “Beta tu apna vrat tod de! Poora ho gaya hai ye vrat.”

“Pan Dev?!” Raavi asked. Dhara shook her head. “Nahin Di. Jab tak woh mera vrat nahin todta jiske liye maine vrat rakha hai. Tab tak main ye vrat nahin todungi.” Raavi told her strongly.

“Chodiye ma bhabhi! Is maami ki behen ki beti ki akkal ghaas charne gayi hai.” Shiva told her as he took a bite. But food felt tasteless to him as she watched him with hurt. He swallowed with difficulty.

“Shiva!” Gautam and Dhara admonished. Krish shook his head too.

Raavi suddenly swayed and Shiva got up from his place in a second as he rushed towards her in horror.

“Raavi!” Many voices shouted together just as she fainted right in Shiva’s arms who held her in time. Suman and Gautam rushed towards her with Dhara bringing the rear.

“Krish paani la!” Shiva called out in part anger and part concern. He had had enough of this vrat. Krish nodded and rushed towards him with a glass of water.

“Raavi beta uth na?” Dhara pleaded worriedly as she rubbed Raavi’s cheeks. Shiva was rubbing her hands. Krish handed him water and he sprinkled some on Raavi’s face. She opened her eyes softly to see everyone blearily. Shiva held the glass to her lips. She drank water as she watched his worried face taking the first sip of her day. Shiva then took out a chocolate from his pocket and opened it to hold it near her lips. She took a bite of it tearfully. Shiva lifted her up in his arms and took her to his cot, laying her there.

“Maami ki behen ki beti! Paagal ho gayi hai? Ye kya zidd hai?” He angrily scolded her. For a moment his heart had burst with worry, concern, even pain. She smiled softly.

“Pyaar ke liye karna padta hai.” She replied. He growled angrily.

“Pan kya faida hua ye sab karke?” Krish asked softly. “Tera vrat to Dev ne toda hi nahin.” Suman and Dhara were upset for her. She smiled.

“Jiske liye vrat rakha usi ne toda.” Raavi replied as she watched Shiva softly. “Usi ke saath saari rasme ki.”

Everyone gaped at her in shock. Shiva was horrified as he watched her open mouthed.

The first one to merge from this shock was Suman who laughed in surprise followed by Dhara and Gautam and then Krish. Shiva remained wide eyed as he stared at this chipkali.

“Kya!?” He asked as he stood up from beside her in haste.

“Maine ye vrat tere liye rakha tha.” Raavi told him shyly. She was blushing. “Main tujhse pyaar karti hoon.”

“Pan main nahin karta! Aye maami ki behen ki beti! Ye kya naya drama hai? Dekh! Band kar ise!” Shiva said as his family smiled at them.

“Koi baat nahin. Main tujhe apne vraton se jeet hi lungi.” She told him.

“Main tera koi bhi vrat main saath nahin dunga ab.”

“Aage ke vrat mein, tere saath ki koi zaroorat hai bhi nahin. Woh main khud poore kar lungi.” Raavi informed him happily. He huffed as he walked away. He was still in shock.

“Is Dev ko bhi aaj hi late hona tha?” Shiva mumbled to the amusement of his family.

A week earlier

She sighed as she watched him shift the boxes from the van to the store, all the while speaking with Kaka and Gaumbhi. She really liked him, but she knew, the moment he saw her there, he would change completely and begin a war with her and she was tired of fighting with him. She wanted an end and a new beginning. She still didn't understand why the sight of her pushed him to hurt her, to maim her, to shout at her. She was such a sweet person. But he didn't think so. The person whom she wanted to see her sweetness felt that she was the most bitter person in this world. Such a waste of her charms. She huffed, shaking her head.

"Kya hua Raavi?" Her friend, Sneha asked. She mentally made a face. Sneha hated Shiva. Due to Raavi's own fault though. She had been speaking rubbish about him for whole her life. And finally just before an year, she had realised that she actually didn't like Dev that way.

Raavi and Dev were walking on the streets of Somnath as they returned from their college. Raavi's heart was pounding a mile in a minute. She was stealing glances at Dev as they walked slowly. He was holding his Scooty which had stopped due to low fuel. They were trudging it towards the petrol bunk. She smiled as she moved a strand of her hair behind her ears delicately.

"Dev?" She called out. He hummed in response without turning towards her. She felt her excitement ebb a little at that but continued. "Tumhen yaad hai na ki thode din baad humara dance competition hai?" She asked. He hummed again. Raavi was annoyed at his hums. But she encouraged her heart to try again. "Hum practice kab karen?" She enquired softly. He hummed again. Raavi frowned and stopped. Dev continued walking without a care. Raavi felt beyond upset at this point. How could he not even realise that she had stopped walking? Wasn't that basic decency? But maybe Dev was amongst the people who stayed in their own world? She sighed and made excuses for him and walked faster once again to catch up with him. "Dev??" She patted his shoulder once to get his attention and he was startled.

"Sorry Raavi." He apologized to her delight. "Main kisi aur soch mein tha." He told her. She smiled and nodded. But her heart was already feeling detached. "Kya keh rahi thi tum?"

"Main keh rahi thi ki tumhen yaad hai na humare dance competition ke baare mein? Kuch dinon mein hai competition. Aur ab tak humne practice bhi nahin ki hai." She told him. Dev frowned.

"Raavi? Hum dance?" He was puzzled. She felt her heart sinking. What all dreams had she seen with open eyes about their dance? She had thought about countless of hours that they both would spend together, bonding. How could he forget? Maybe just like today he hadn't paid her attention even then?

"Haan! Yaad nahin hai? Jab competition announce hua tha, tabhi to maine tumhe is baare mein poocha tha? You had said yes! Ab kya hua?" She asked. She was feeling her heart constrict. Dev looked embarrassed.

"I am so sorry Raavi! But seriously! Mujhe yaad nahin hai. Shayad main kisi aur soch mein tha jab maine haan kaha! Tum to janti ho na, ki ye dance wance mein main interest mahin leta." Dev told her softly. Raavi gulped, partly in anger and partly in distress.

"Par Dev? Ab mujhe koi partner bhi nahin milega! Tum is tarah se to mat karo na please?" She requeste, feeling embarrassed. Dev looked distressed.

"Sorry Raavi but yeh possible nahin hai. Tum to har saal dance karti ho na? Is saal nahin karogi to utni problem to hogi nahin na? Is saal instead of participating you can enjoy?" Dev told her and went ahead without her answer. Raavi watched him go and felt like he was exiting from her heart. She was letting go finally. Her dreams, which she had seen for them, were shattered, but her heart wasn't. Yes she was upset. But she wasn't in pain. She shook her head at her naïveté. Time to move ahead.

That was the last day that she had dreamt about Dev. But after that day, she had begun to observe and think a lot. And soon she had realised, who it was that actually paid attention.

Shiva Pandya... Thats who!

And now... Now Raavi wanted to take back every word she had spoken against him so her friends do not disrespect him but she couldn't. So she sighed as she shook her head to her friend.

"Tu Dev ke baare mein soch rahi hai na?" Sneha asked happily. Raavi smiled painfully and nodded weakly. She hadn't told about her change of heart to anybody, opting instead to suffer at the hands of silent love. Ironically, her love for Dev was all loud. She had loved him and declared it to the world. But for Shiva? It was silent and calm like the undercurrents of a raging sea, strong but not visible.

It had all begun on a winter night almost a year ago. She had already begun to distance herself from Dev by then.

Raavi was sitting near the river on the steps. She watched as the river rushed through. Dark clouds had covered the skies and heavy rains had been forecasted. It was cold and she was shivering. She had just fought with her Maasima and ran here. She had wanted to go to Pandya House but the very thought of Dev had discouraged her. She didn't want to fight with Shiva either.

She closed her eyes as the sound of nature silenced everyone and everything else around her. There were very less people on the ghaat due to the weather and she actually loved it here, wishing only for a sweater or a shawl right now. She rubbed her hands and smiled sadly.

She realised today that no body actually paid attention to her. No one loved her like she wanted to be loved. No one cared. Her Maasi had scolded her today. It wouldn't have mattered much but she forgot that today was the day she had lost her parents. It had always been difficult for her on this day. Her Maasi had even used words that had hurt her soul. Despite loving her a lot, her Maasi usually did something or the other that hurt her. But Raavi still loved her and vice versa. It just wasn't the al encompassing love that Raavi wanted though. She had a dream that at least someone would love her to madness. She wanted someone to pay attention to the tiniest details of her life, her face, her words, her silences, her smiles. She wanted someone to make her their world. She sighed. It was too much to dream of though, wasn't it? She shook her head. Perhaps she didn't have such luck... No one could do that in this world.

She was still thinking of what to do next, whether to leave or brave the heavy rains and the jittery cold it would definitely bring with it, when something soft landed on her shoulders. She held it reflexively and smiled. It was surely her Maasima, who had come to take her back. She turned with a huge smile, only to loose her smile to shock.

It was Shiva...

He stood there behind her and watched her silently.

"Aye Maami ki behen ki beti... Waqt aur haalat dekh kar qadam uthaye jaate hain. Toofan ki dehleez par khade hokar pagal kartab nahin dikhaye jaate!" Shiva admonished. But today, she didn't feel upset or irritated by him. She could see his concern. She felt her eyes tingle, the tell tale of tears.

"Tujhe kaise pata chala ki main yahan hoon?" She enquired softly.

"Mama ne Gaumbhi ko call kiya tha, ye poochne ki tu ghr aayi hai kya... Mujhe pata tha ki agar tu wahan nahin hai aur ghar bhi nahin hai, store mein bhi nahin hai, to tu yahan hogi. Fir mujhe yaad aaya ki aaj kya din hai. Aaj ke din to tu waise bhi ghaat par aayi hai. To main yahin aa gaya." He informed her as he watched the river flow. She gulped.

"Aur ye shawl? Tujhe ye kaise pata ki mujhe is waqt is ki kitni zaroorat thi?" She asked softly, trying to understand the puzzle that was Shiva Pandya.

"Waise to tu khud ko badi tees maar khan samajhti hai, par thodi si thand mein bhi phoote hue gubbare jaisi haalat ho jati hai teri. Aur aaj to mausam waise bhi bahut zyada hi thanda hai. To mujhe lga Dhara bhabhi ka shawl leta aaun. Kahin to thand mein thithur kar mar hi na rahi ho." Shiva answered. She smiled tearfully. Someone paid attention all right? Someone knew her inside out. She sniffled as she watched Shiva who was becoming uncomfortable at her scrutiny.

"Thanks... Meri care karne ke liye." She whispered. Shiva was horrified.

"Care? Aye Chipkali... Care nahin karta teri. Bas agar tujhe kuch ho jaaye to shaamat meri Dhara bhabhi ki aayegi. Isliye. Bas. Aur kuch nahin. Chal!" He said roughly and for the first time in her life, she listened, she obeyed.

That was the start to her observation of him. It had begun with a small wish to understand who he was. She wanted to know something about the person who knew her so well. And then she had realised who he was. He did everything in silence. He cared in silence. He loved in silence. And she began to notice everything about him. And in that process she didn't even realise when she had crossed the line of like to love. Now she wanted to spend time with him, to speak with him, to show her right on him, but years of dislike and wars had stranded them both on the opposite shores of a river. She didn't know how to cross the distance between them both.

"Pata hai Raavi? Maine kahin suna hai ki agar aap ko man chaha saathi chahiye to aapko uske liye kuch rasam karni padti hai." Sneha was telling her. Raavi started to pay close attention to Sneha. "Aapko vrat rakhne padte hain. Lekin pehla vrat aap uske haath se shuru karoge aur todoge. Baaqi ke akele bhi theek hai.” Sneha shrugged.

“Accha?” Raavi asked. “Aur isse woh mil jayega?”

“Haan maanyata to hai.” She replied. Raavi smiled.

‘Mere Gadedhe… Ab yehi tareeqa apnana padega. Warna tu to mujhe milne se raha. Tapasya karni padegi.”

Yay! It's turned into TS!

So you've managed to fool me. Reading the teaser, when this chapter began, I was so sure, she was acting all coy because of Shiva. But the way she was changing Dev, I felt maybe this was pre teaser scene where she's still in her Dave world, and this is the phase where Shiva starts to fall for her.

But you got me. I was equally surprised by her exclamation when she confessed. I love this bindas Raavi. Jo dil main hai, woh zuban pe hai. ❤️. I miss this Raavi.

But loved the FB of her realization related to Shiva. The ghat scene was beautiful and the poem was so apt. Air Shiva ki Zindagi sirf uske ird gird ghumti hai, so he is aware of everything Raavi. Would love to see her learning about Shiva, being there for him when he's low and Shiva's realization that maybe this bairagi needs this shringar! Looking forward to the next part!

P.s. I was wondering why it seemed a bit familiar. Reminded me of queen and her pawns.

Hehe. I wanted this scene in o be written after teaser scene but that would not be that effective. So wrote it before.

Me too. She was so fun to write about.
