What Ishita did afterwards - shyly walked away from Raman and touched her lips with her index finger where Raman touched her with his lips just a moment ago and then she traced down the finger to her chin and then from chin to middle of her throat all the while her chest was heaving frantically - was truly the defining moment of the IshRa consummation. 

 Remember THAT scene when Raman put his head on Ishita's shoulder and slept (or acted to sleep!)? What was Ishita's reaction?  What was Ishita's inner voice? >> Ayyo Raman, what is this NEW feeling?? My HEART IS PUMPING like it will come out any moment!! What is this NEW THING happening in my life?!!

NEW Feeling? NEW Thing in life? How? Really? She hugs Bala, she hugged Subbu, She hugged Mani. She even hugged Raman or hugged by Raman , he even slept on her shoulder before as well. Remember... Mrs Iyer hospital scene? The how it was NEW?? It was indeed NEW. The NEWNEESS was her feeling of DESIRE, her feeling of ATTRACTION, evocation of PHYSICAL ATTRACTION for the very first time in her life. This was SO NEW...SO RAW to her that she couldn't name what it was, couldn't define what it was. 

The same NEW feeling poured through just after Raman uttered Maar diya 😉. Rather, because of what Raman did before that Maar diya 😉😉 The CULMINATION of the NEW FEELING.  A scarred WOMAN was about to be COMPLETED. Full Circle.

ISHRA CONSUMMATION was one of a kind on Telly Land. It was full of HEAVY SYMBOLISMS and indication of coming so many FULL CIRCLES. 

Start from Shagun's seething taunts towards Ishita (many disliked that saying  "why Shagun?", many even criticized us for Shagun's words to be too bold for the time slot)

Well, who else if not Shagun? It was always Shagun. What she used to say from very beginning? Don't call Ishita my saut...She's just a nanny to my daughter. This too was coming full circle.

Shagun- Raman- Ishita...who lacked the experience of physical intimacy in this TRIANGLE at that point of time? >> ISHITA. Who could boast of being the only woman who Raman touched so far at that point of time? >> SHAGUN. See, it was always SHAGUN. 

Touching such bold and sensitive topic with such ease was the uniqueness of YHM.

FAB FAB ANALYSIS... When you breakdown the scenes and connect them to weave an obvious pattern which was not so obvious when we watched them back then, the admiration for the classic YHM grows even more. Please do write more.

There's no point why Ishita and Raman lacked intimacy since Mani's track. It's just the regular policy of writers to delay it for no reason, for all the reasons we fans concluded it to be😂

Considering the agony Shagun has pushed Raman into, Ishita has managed to entice him into physical intimacy way before the ' planned lag ', writers have planned for IshRa

If the intimacy happened somewhere around Mani track, Shagun could have never gotten a fair chance to point at that area in IshRa's life, rather she could only got to taunt Ishita as a bhaanj. 

Earlier, in the beginning of the show, whenever Raman saw Ashok and Shagun together, he used to clench his teeth; at least at some point of time, it must have crossed his mind that there stands a man in front of him who has touched Shagun intimate equally like him. He couldn't cherish the memories made with Shagun anymore.

Physical intimacy lacked meaning for Raman may be, he became no Kabir Singh after Shagun left😂, but in fact only shooed away every woman who came closer to him.

Shagun boasting about the only woman being touched by Raman, in front of Ishita, is the foolish kind of boasting because she herself is not the  woman who was touched only by Raman , and that would come across as so immodest of her to boast as a human being, while Raman boasting to himself,that he got a woman in his life that he alone could touch is the right kind of boasting, which I would have loved to witness in a scene. 

Ishita and Raman were ready to consummate their marriage during the Mani track. It was highly unnatural and ridiculous that it took them 8 more months to finally do it. After the first one year, the writing of YHM was simply pathetic. 

And involving Shagun in IshRa's consummation was totally inconsistent with old YHM. From the salsa dance scene to Raman gifting her a pressure cooker for her wedding, Shagun was gradually turned into a superfluous influence in IshRa's life. Why would Shagun affect Ishita so much when Ishita knows fully well that Raman is madly in love with her! The writers turned IshRa's consummation into a joke. It was the actors who salvaged it.
