Part 4

Sameer goes to the ground.

The coach, named Roy, asks everyone to assemble.

He sees Sameer struggling with the bending exercises. He said, "Sameer, you need to reduce your weight."

Sameer immediately remembers Arnav making fun of him.

He said, "Yes, Sir."

Roy: Good. Avoid ice cream and other fatty substances. Come to the gym at 6 am.

Sameer: Yes, Sir.

Roy then asks him to go for three rounds of jogging.

Sameer jogs. 

He struggles but out of his sheer willpower, he completes three rounds and gets exhausted.

Roy now trains the boys to hold the bat.

Meanwhile, Arnav meets Khushi at the fair.

He gives her a pair of bangles.

Both go to the beach.

Vishakha: Do you like Aliya or some other girl?

Arnav: I only treat Aliya as a friend, but I love someone else. She is a little crazy; in fact, she is entirely mad. But it is ok. She talks too much. Wherever she goes, she breaks the vase. She is pretty clumsy, and her behavior is weird. But I don't know what happens to me when I see her. She is cute, but...

Vishaka: But crazy. What's her name?

Meanwhile, Vivek (Bobby) tells his mother her name is Aliya. She is perfect for Arnav.

Dadi: It's the right choice. I am thrilled. But have you asked Arnav?

Vivek: What's the need to ask him? It's me who decides. Aliya will be the DIL of this house.

Sameer manages to lose some weight.

It's time for him to go to the boarding school to spend time with his teammates. He cries.

Sameer: Dad, I will be missing all of you. Why are you sending me to boarding school?

Vivek: It is a tradition. I was in boarding school. My brothers were in boarding school. 

Arnav was in boarding school. 

So, how can I break the chain?

Arnav sits next to Sameer.

Arnav hugs him. He said, "Hey, Laddu, I love you very much. Even I would miss you. But yes, mom loves me more than you."

Sameer: Dad.

Vivek: Stop it, Arnav.

Arnav: Sorry, dad.

All of them giggle

Arnav: Sameer, by the way, you have lost some weight. But you need to lose more weight and be fit.

Arnav drops Sameer to boarding school.

Naina: Bye Sameer.

Sameer: Bye.

Arnav: Mihir is a good coach. Work hard—best of luck.

Meanwhile, Vishaka gets some jewelry for Bela for Shefali's wedding.

Vivek is talking to Sameer over the phone.

Vivek: Don't worry, you will get used to the environment. No more crying.

Sameer settles in the boarding school and does strenuous workouts. 

He works hard with Mihir and other team members and becomes handsome and the best player.

Vivek asks Vishaka, "What are you guys doing here?"

Vishaka: Shefali's wedding got fixed. So I am giving my gift.

Vivek: Congratulations, Bela. If you need anything more, please let me know.

Bela: Sure. Please come to the wedding.

Vishaka: Yes, I will come.

Bela: Vivek, it would be great if you come to the wedding.

Vishaka supports Bela.

Vivek: Arnav will come to the wedding.

Meanwhile, Kamlesh tells Aliya, "I knew that Aditya wouldn't come. He has lost the challenge. You have to marry Arnav."

Vishaka: Vivek, they have invited us to the wedding. We should attend it.

Aditya comes to meet Kamlesh, who gets impressed by seeing his BMW car.

Kamlesh: Nice pair. I have no objection to your marriage with Aditya.

Aliya comes with Aditya to Maheshwari's house.

She said, "He is Aditya to whom I am going to get married."

Vivek gets shocked.

Kamlesh comes there,

Vivek: How did you agree to Aliya's marriage with Aditya? 

Kamlesh: Aditya has established himself. So I didn't have an option but to agree. I always wanted Aliya's happiness.

Vivek: You will regret it.

Kamlesh leaves with Aditya & Aliya. 

He gets them engaged.

Vivek then goes to Arnav & asked, "How do you feel about Aliya getting engaged to Aditya?"

Arnav: I am happy for her.

Vivek: Never mind. I will find a better bride for you.

Arnav: I have already chosen one.

Vivek: What's her name?

Arnav: It's Khushi.

Vivek: Maheshwari is a reputed brand. Did you not think about the outcome of the decision that you took? I can't tolerate a simple girl entering the house & spoiling the traditions of this house. Do you think she would fit our family? There's a vast difference between you & her. Will she be able to follow the traditions of my house? What made you think that she can be a part of my family?

Arnav: I thought about the pros and cons, but I can't help loving her.

Vivek: It is my fault that I was unable to understand my son. 

Your decision has hurt me. 

I was proud of you. 

But you have broken my trust.

Arnav: I'm sorry, dad. I didn't want to hurt you. I will do as you tell me to do.

Vivek (Bobby) carcasses him.

The next day Arnav meets Khushi.

it's good that sameer worked hard to lose weight.Arnav gifting bangles to khushi was nice.suraj hua dream sequence was very romantic.why vivek didn't want to go for shefjun's wedding?is it bcz they are middle class?i think it was not there in the movie.vivek sending sameer to boarding just bcz that's the family tradiation n telling that there is no need to ask Arnav about aliya is too much.glad that kamlesh accepted aditya for aliya.shocking that vivek said they will regret it.arshi dance. ..bracelet. ..veil scenes were romantic .shocking that bcz of vivek Arnav decided to sacrifice khushi.nice pics.

Arjun & Shefali's marriage gets completed.

Arjun: Congratulations, Mrs. Shefali Arjun Agarwal.

Shefali: Congratulations, Mr. Arjun, the great cricketer.

Shefali: You are dazzling today.

Arnav & Khushi stands in the distance & smiles at them.

Aditya & Aliya meet.

Aliya: You have done it! Arnav had already told me that he loves Khushi.

Vishaka goes to Vikek & asked, "Now, which girl do you have for Arnav in mind?"

Vivek: Well, there are many high-society girls. Let us go to Aliya's wedding so we would get to see more girls.

Vishaka: Have you ever thought of Arnav's happiness? 

Vivek: I know what's right for him & what's bad for him.

Vishaka: When you brought him here, he became our son & my life. If Arnav finds happiness in Khushi, I have no objection.

Vivek: If I say Khushi cannot become the DIL of my house, she can't. My decision is final.

Arnav: Khushi, I think we should get married.

Arnav: Will your father accept me? I won't marry you till your father agrees.

Khushi leaves.

Arnav goes home.

He meets Vivek Bobby.

Arnav: I want to go to London to study M.Phil.

Vivek: That's great. Your happiness is my happiness. Won't you attend Aliya's wedding?

Arnav: Sure.

Aliya goes to Khushi's house & invites her for her engagement party.

Khushi agrees.

Arnav is in his room. Vishakha enters his room.

Vishakha: Why have you decided to go to London to do M.Phil?

Arnav: To make dad happy. I am attending Aliya's wedding for dad.

Vishakha: Don't worry. I'll handle it.

She gives the vermillon to Arnav. They meet Khushi.

All three go to the same mandap. 

Arnav & Khushi get married.

Meanwhile, Aditya takes Aliya to the coffee day.

Aliya gets surprised to see all the decorations that Adiya had made.

Adiya bowed down before Aliya and asked, "Will you marry me?"

Aliya: Yes. We have to be in the venue by evening.

Aditya: Don't worry. We will reach there.

Both of them have cold coffee and reach the venue. Arnav, Khushi, & Vishakha also attend the engagement ceremony.

Vivek & all others get shocked seeing Arnav bringing Khushi as his wife.

At Maheshwari House

Vivek: I have loved you as my son & gave you the best of everything. I ensured that you would never get the feeling of missing your parents. I was proud of you & have trusted you that you will meet my expectations. But today, you proved that you are not my blood.

Arnav, Khushi, & Vishaka, & Dadi get shattered.

Arnav: Dad.

Vivek: You have lost the right to call me dad.

Arnav: You have disowned me within a second.

Khushi comforts Arnav.

They enter the room.

Arnav meets Vivek & asked, "Do I at least have a place in the house."

Vivek does not reply.

He meets Vishaka.

Both of them emotionally hug each other.

Vishaka: Keep in touch.

Khushi bows to Vishaka, who hugs her.

Arnav touches Vivek's feet & pack their bags & go to Gupta's house.

Khushi cries: Dad didn't bless us.

Arnav & Khushi hug each other.

He then meets Sameer in his hostel.

Arnav: If you are not able to decide, then listen to your heart. If you still don't get the answer, then think about mom & dad. You will succeed. 

Sameer: I would miss you.

Arnav: Even I will miss you a lot. Work hard & get selected in the cricket team. Also, it would help if you lose more weight.

Sameer cries: Why are you going? Please don't go.

Arnav hugs him emotionally: I'm sorry. I have to go. Don't ask anybody the reason for my departure.

Arnav leaves

Beena & Naresh: There's no place for you in my house. No point in keeping Naina.

Arnav & Khushi take Naina with them to London.

Later, the company sends Anand to London.

Arnav accommodates Anand & Bela.

Dadi: Vivek's pride & Arnav's stubbornness has divided the house into two parts.

Flashback ends.

The next day the family conducts puja. 

Sameer takes a silent oath: Bro, bhabhi, I will get you guys home.

Vivek calls Vishaka.

She comes with a puja plate before Vivek.

Vivek: Have you forgotten me as our son came?

Vishaka dips her finger inside the kumkum bowl & puts it on Vivek's forehead.

Vivek smiles. 

Sameer meets Khushi's neighbors.

Anand & Bela meets Sameer.

Sameer: Do you have any idea where it is big b?

Anand: Yes, they are in London. We stayed there for a year as my company had sent me. We are back. Since then, we live separately from Naresh & Bela as they are not getting well-along with us.

Sameer: What happened.

Bela: They are upset that Khushi married a person who doesn't belong to our community. They kept taunting & torturing our daughter. Fortunately, our company sent us to London.

Anand: After our return, we took a separate house & are staying there.

Sameer went to Vivek & said, "Dad, I want to go to London."

Vivek: Why?

Sameer: I want to go for further studies. I want to do an MBA.

Vivek: You have just come & you want to go so soon? There are so many universities here. Why don't you study here?

Sameer: It's a tradition. Grandpa, You, & Big B have studied in London. So how can I break the rule?

Vivek nods painfully: Right.

Sameer then goes to Vishaka.

Sameer: What does a mother want?

Vishaka: Her son's happiness.

Sameer: A child would be happy only when the mother smiles. I will see that you get back your happiness. It is a brother and a son's promise.

Vishaka and Sameer hug each other emotionally.

Sameer takes a flight to London.

shefjun scene was romantic.sad that vivek doesn't want khushi but a high class girl for Arnav.adilya scene was romantic. surprisingly here vishaka gave vermilion to Arnav to marry khushi n she was present with arshi when they got married.I wish you had put arshi's temple wedding pic.sad that vivek talked so rudely to arnav.arshi departure scene ..arnav vishaka scene...arshi scene were very painful.sameer meeting anand bela n promising vishaka bring back her happiness was nice.I am glad that here you didn't kill Anand bela.in the movie when kajol's father died I felt sad.nice pics

She doesn't get up.

Bela: She won't get up like that. 

Both call Nai.

Naina gets up & starts dancing to the music while changing her dress & getting ready for college.

She looks at herself in the mirror & said, "It's unfair. You don't have any right to look so beautiful."

Khushi sees that & smiles.

The doorbell rings yet again.

Khushi opens the door & sees a neighbor with her daughter.

The lady named Monica said, "Good morning Mrs. Maheshwari."

Khushi: Good morning.

Monica: What a lovely day!

Khushi (jokingly): How can my day be fine after seeing you?

Monica: I need your help. I am getting late for work so can you drop my daughter at school?

Khushi (jokes): Liar, come here. (to Monica's daughter)

Khushi takes Karen in.

Arnav: Who has come?

Khushi: Your to-be-daughter-in-law.

Khushi: I will make cornflakes for you.

She goes inside.

ugle heere moti & catches hold of his head.

Aarav: Dad.

He follows her up to the kitchen.

Arnav: It's wonderful that you sing patriotic songs every day, but the neighbors complain.

Khushi: But I am not singing for them. I am singing that song to teach Aarav.

Arnav: I know, but Aarav knows everything.

Aarav: Yes, mom.

Khushi: He knows nothing about our country, the culture, customs, and traditions.

Aarav: Stop it, mom. Why are you saying my country all the time?

Khushi: India is the best of all the nations, and you should be proud of it. Just because you are studying here doesn't mean that you should be like that girl.

Arnav+Aarav: Relax, please chill.

Bela and Khushi started mimicking the accent, speaking style and said, "Our Chandni Chowk is far better."

Naina comes down and is on the way to her college. 

Naina: Hello everyone.

Karen: You are looking hot.

Naina: Thank you.

Naina then goes to Arnav to help him with a tie.

Arnav: What kind of clothes are you wearing?

Naina: It's backless.

She leaves.

Arnav: Khushi, how do you allow Naina to wear short dresses?

Khushi + Bela: Take a chill pill.

Naina meets her friend.

They said, "You are looking hot."

All other boys gather.

Sharad: Hi Nai, Coming with me for a date?

Naina: Sorry.

Kamya & Swati said, "All girls in the college are crazy after Sharad. But you have so much of attitude."

Suddenly, they hear the horn of a car.

Sameer had been an admission to the college where Naina is studying.  Sameer takes one round and comes back to the same place.

He takes out his guitar & begins to play. Naina, Swati & Kamya see him.

Sameer takes out his goggles & made a tongue-twisting dialogue, "Chandu ke chacha ne chandu ki Chachi ko Chandni chowk mein Chandi ke chamach se chatni chatayi. Chatni chatayi"

He goes.

Naina gets stunned.

The girls asked him who Chandu is?

Naina: Oh, we used to call him Laddu in our childhood days.

Sameer & Naina meet at the college canteen.

Naina: When you were in the boarding school, a lot of things had happened. After Khushi's wedding took place with Arnav, our aunt & uncle fought with our parents & hurled a lot of insults. They had crossed all the limits. So, we separated. Arnav accommodated me & my parents. We have set a small world for ourselves. My sister is happily married to Arnav, & she always says that a married woman is the union of wife & daughter-in-law. She is a good wife but didn't get an opportunity to prove herself as an ideal DIL. Arnav remembers his mom & dad every day, but he doesn't express it. He has put their photo frame on the wall but does not see it. We have set a small world after leaving everyone. When you see from far, you may think we are happy, but you will find our lives with sorrows when you come close. Why have you come here now?
