Tanya Sharma and Gaurav Sareen to play leads in Udaan

Now, with the show all set to take a leap with the story line focussing on the next generation, it will bring in new actors to play leads.

We also wrote exclusively about actors Anurag Sharma and Aarti Singh being brought in as the new family who will be foster parents of Anjor, the daughter of Chakor (Meera Deosthale) and Suraj.

Now, we bring to you the news of the leads in the show.

Actress Tanya Sharma who excelled in Saath Nibhana Saathiya as Meera Modi and went on to be part of Woh Apna Sa will play the protagonist Anjor. Earlier, Bhavika Sharma was shortlisted, but it is Tanya who has bagged it eventually.

Joining her will be actor Gaurav Sareen who played the lead Radhey in Krishna Chali London the Star Plus show.

As per a reliable source, "The channel and makers (Guroudev Bhalla and Dhaval Gada) were looking for apt faces and actors who could carry out this big responsibility of shouldering the show which gets into the news phase.

Now, the search has come to a halt with Tanya and Gaurav being locked.

We buzzed actors, but could not get through to them.

We reached out to Producer Guroudev Bhalla and channel spokesperson, but did not get revert.
