Taiji comes to Chachi's house and gives them a crockery set gifted to Tauji by the area Collector. Naina and Preeti come there and Taiji blames them for coming late whenever there is some work to which Naina asks if there was anything special as they were back on their usual time. Chacha Chachi tell them to get ready as Pooja's would be in laws would be coming there to fix the marriage date. Taiji taunts them all that they are always busy with movies and songs and now the school trip. Naina recalls Sameer asking her to come for the school trip anyhow and she had silently promised him. VO says that her hopes of going to school trip washed away with Taiji's words but she had to try once as he wanted her to come. She decided to ask the family members after the guests leave.
Pooja is getting ready and Preeti sings Sajna hai mujhe sajna ke liye... Pooja is worried about her looks as his groom is modern and he wants her to dress up as Chandni...she doesn't want to wear the saree which was old fashioned...Bela comes there and tells them that its not her wedding so she should dress well after marriage and that would happen only after the groom's family agrees to the relation. VO says that her mind went fast forward in imagining the day when Sameer's family would be coming to see her. Pooja is upset as she had promised him that she would dress up as Chandni when he comes...Preeti has an idea for doing that through Shefali and Naina tells them that she knows how relieving it is to fulfil your lovers wish as she too has loved someone...both of them are shocked to know this...Naina excuses herself by naming MPK, QSQT and Chandni movies. Preeti says she was scared to hear about love from Naina.
Taiji tells all of them to be ready soon and Naina calls Shefali and asks for yellow saree like the one in Chandni movie. She tells her that she'll send someone for collecting it. Taiji sees her on phone and scold her as phone bill had increased to 86 rupees that month. Her phone rings and she picks up...its Sameer on the line and song...rang bhare badal se...in the background. He asks her whether she will come for trip or not ...Chachi comes there and there is some yes and no confusion and Chachi tells her to get ready soon...Naina keeps the phone down. VO says that she couldn't say no to her hero as Suman from MPK and Rashmi from QSQT would never say so to their lovers. She enters the room and says yes 3 times...Preeti asks her about the saree...she goes out and asks Arjun to get saree from Shefali's house...he is reluctant but she insists on him going there.
Arjun goes down and asks Shefali to give the saree...she is about to take off the saree she is wearing...he turns around and starts chanting hanuman chalisa...she tells him that she is wearing skirt beneath the saree and hands over the saree to him. Groom's family is there and they are praising the dishes prepared by Pooja...Rakesh starts describing the furniture at home...they all stop him...roka date is fixed for 3 days later...everyone is very happy to know this...small token amount is given to the groom by Tauji...Preeti asks him to talk to them for sometime and he comes and sits with them...she offers him rasgulla and he gulps it in one go...Naina tells him that Pooja Di has specially dressed up for him only. Taiji asks them to call Pooja there and they both go inside.
Sameer is practicing boxing and is angry that Naina is impossible girl. Pooja enters there in the yellow saree and Taiji and everyone is shocked to see this...the groom is staring at him and Taiji ask her to cover with pallu and touch the feet of his parents. Phone bell rings and VO says that communication was a problem in those days and she wished she could message Sameer that he need not worry as she was already planning on how to get the permission for the trip. It rings again and he is hitting the boxing bag...he again dials the phone and Naina picks up the phone and Sameer asks her to tell in yes or no...she isn't able to answer and Chachi asks about the caller...she tells them that its Pooja di's friend on line. She keeps the phone saying that he should call again. He angrily keeps the phone and Nanu enters...he tells him that he can see that he is upset because of someone who is more than a friend...he asks him about the special friend...he describes about the innocence of the girl he would love...he recollects Naina and her funny moments. Both Pooja and the guy are sharing glances...the boy's mother isn't happy with Pooja's Chandni look as their family was very simple and not into these movies etc. They would have preferred if she dressed up in simple attire...Chachi tells her to go and change...but boy's father tells them to be cautious in future as they followed Sanatan dharma. VO says that they were having a smile on their face till the guests were there but inside they were tensed for scolding and slaps that were awaiting them and she won't be able to ask for permission for school trip in this situation.

Sameer on bike with Munna and Pandit and rings the horn twice outside her house...Naina asks for the school trip and Rakesh ji refuses. All the students are giving their names and fees for school trip in the class and Sameer asks the teacher that what if some students are absent today...the teacher says that she won't be taking the names after that day.
