The Phone Rang.
The Person From The Other Side Said:
"Hi Meera!"
Meera, a girl in her teens, still wearing her night clothes who till now was feeling very sleepy now suddenly started jumping with happiness!
"Di! Hi! I'm so glad you called!"
The Person On The Other End Was None Other Than Geet!
"Phone Kaise Ni Karti! Apni Choti Si Behen Ko Ek Khush Khabri Jo Deni Hai!"
"Di, keh do ki tum Delhi aa rahi ho!"
"Chal thik hai, keh diya! Tu bhi kya yaad rakhegi ki Geet Handa ne teri baat maan li!"
"Sach Di?! Main Bohot Khush Hoon Di! Kab aa rahi ho tum?"
"Do din baad. Maine tere college mein admission bhi le liya hai!"
"Wow Di! Tab toh bhot maza aayega! Hai Na?"
"Haan! Chal Main phone rakhti hoon! Packing Bhi toh karni hai! Bye Sweet Sister!"
"Bye Di! Jaldi Aana!"
Geet and Meera are real sisters. They lived in Mumbai. They lost their mother at a very early age. Meera shifted to Delhi for her studies but Geet didn't. And now, Geet is also shifting to Delhi in the same college as Meera's.
College-
Meera : Hey Maan! Guess What!?
Maan : What?
Meera : Kya Maan.. Kabhi toh guess kiya karo. Khair Chhodo.
Mayank : Thik Hai. Chhoda. Ab Batao Kya Hua.
Meera : Tumhe maine bataya than na apni Di ke bare mein'
Maan : Geet na?
Meera : Haan! (Teasing Him) Kya Baat Hai! Mister Maan Singh Khurana
jo ladkiyon ki taraf aankh tak uthakar nhi dekhte, unhe meri behen ka naam yaad
hai.! 😆
Maan : Meera, agar tumhne bakwaas karni hai toh main jaa raha hun.
Meera : Acha Acha Theek hai! Sorry Yaar!
Maan : Thik Hai Thik Hai. Maaf Kiya!
Meera : Haan Toh Maan, (almost jumping) Di parso aa rahi hain! 😃
Maan : Oh Great (very sarcastically)
Meera : Zyada bhav khaane ki zaroorat nahi hai. Ek baar Di ko
dekhoge na toh in books ko bhool jaoge. 😆
Maan : Ho Gaya? Ab Main Jaun?
Meera : (haste hue) Jao!
Maan Singh Khurana was Meera's friend. She was the only female friend of his. Well, there was a reason behind it. Meera was not like other girls. She didn't flirt with boys or with Maan. She was a serious student just like Maan. Maan and Meera shared a healthy relationship. And they never thought each other as someone more than a friend. (So need to worry readers! 😛)
Maan was a very handsome guy undoubtedly. Fair Complexion. Black Eyes. Breathtaking Smile. Killer Looks. A Deadly Combination to say the least! He was the kind of guy for whom any girl would die for. But he never paid attention to these "stupid" girls as he referred them. He loved his mom more than anything. He was a very reserved person, and did not talk much. He preferred keeping quiet. He never talked about his father to anyone, not even to Meera.
Now, Maan headed towards the Library as usual. Library was like a second home for him. He felt comfortable there. No one to disturb him. And there he had his friends with him. Books. "No Complaints No Demands". He forgot all about Geet as he was not interested. But he did not know what destiny had planned for him.
