I don't expect this to be explored in the serial - or who knows it might be :) But I was thinking that airport is also a place with traumatic memories for Geet. And now she will again be on Delhi airport for her flight with Maan. Should there be a scene there?
--
They got out of the car on the airport. After Maan got the luggage out with driver's help, he noticed Geet. She looked frozen at her place, but mentally totally disoriented. And there were tears again! He was immediately worried, "Kya hua Geet?"
She was lost in her thoughts. The sequence of events that happened on the day Dev had left her playing in her mind haphazardly.
He shook her gently, "Geet. Kya hua? Chalo andar."
She replied like a robot, without looking at him, "Nahin. Main airport ke andar nahin jaungi." Tears were rolling down her cheeks.
And then he remembered what she had said, "Ismein meri kya galti thi ki ek raat mere saath bita kar agle din woh mujhe airport par dhokha de kar chala gaya."
Why didn't he think of it earlier. Airport - the only time she had landed on the airport was probably one of the worst memories of her life. Her young life of 18!
Should he just take her away from there? No! That won't do. She can't live in the shadows of her torturuous memories forever. She has to overcome them. She has to grow past them.
"Geet," he began, "meri baat suno Geet."
She looked at him.
"Geet. Main ye chahta hoon ki tum mujh par aankhein band kar ke vishwas kar sako. Jab main saath rahun to tumhein kissi cheez se dar na lage. Apne ateet se to bilkul nahin. Lekin Geet. mujh par vishwas karne ke liye - tumhara khud par vishwas karna bahut zaroori hai Geet."
He pauses to see her reaction and continues, "Geet. Hum milkar tumhari har buri yaad ko achchhi yaad mein badal denge. Ab tum nadaan nahin ho, kamzor nahin ho to tumhein koi dhokha de kar chala jaye to tum rone ke alawa kuchh na kar sako ya koi problem aane par tum uska saamna nahin kar sako. Andar chalo - main tumhein batata hoon ki airport par kaise cheezein handle karte hain aur phir tum kabhi nahin darogi. Samjhi tum?"
He gives her the tickets, pushes the luggage trolley and she follows him. With suitable music in the background, we see Maan instructing Geet, Geet doing the check-in and getting boarding passes. As they sit in the lounge the look at each other and give a smile.
