The shadows linger
adding depth and dimension
what seems to be
is never to be
something that rises
always falls
someone that goes
always returns
there are no shadows
this fall
but only dry leaves
that bake and form into the new earth
there is a devotee at the pulpit
his prayer has no desire
except to escape his fervor
and the lord bequeaths
his treasures
releases him
and attaches him
to some other

I am not retarded
I am not the gross body

the lotus stream
lies in the dirt
but blooms prettily

even though one
lies with the wolves
one need not have to be
the wolf in the manger

Where The Light Goes

I go where the light goes
I go where the light recedes
I am just a follower
with the belief
that the light
will bring forth
forward momentum
and the growth


But the light goes
where I least want to go
bringing to light
the things I least wanna
make right


Even the light seems
to break its pact
with me
it seems to fear
exposure
of the truth within


should I
could I
would I
set aside my
doubts
and serve
in retreat

both are wonderful !

but i liked Parchaiyan more..... :)

though the second one reflected passion to overcome injustice and cope up
with life....the first one seemed more from the heart and fulfilling too as if it's more optimistic than the other and the lines too hold a deep meaning as if there's a tumult of emotions and even turmoil that's being conveyed ...where as the meaning conveyed thro' the second poem is direct....you've taken an indirect approach in d first one !

well this was my interpretation !

and even the nazm quoted too was beautiful !

Yeah it happens at times...we pen down our emotions and all in the form of words and let go of them
but then when the phases elapses and we look down at the thot's we had penned down ....they seem so weird to us ...It happens with me too at times ..

Ah! even the new poem is beautiful ...seems to tell that life and light takes you the way they want...at times destiny takes decisions which we can't Q nor understand and just follow it to lead us to the path....and the moment till we do not reach that point we do not realize !

again my interpretation correct me if i'm wrong :)
