I've written a Fan Fiction in Pratigya forums and now thought I should try one here. You are welcome to both comment and critisize my writing and/or storyline. In fact criticism is highly appreciated since I will be able to concentrate in working on my flaws. 😛
Oh and by the way, My name is Samira 😛. You can either call me Samira, Sammy or even Mrs. Maan Singh Khurana 😆. The choice is yours.
Irrevocably Yours
Sunlight streamed over the
natural landscape, casting its brilliant shine over the horizon. Fresh flowers
of various colors bloomed, thus enhancing the beauty of this secluded place. She
quietly inhaled the sweet scent of nature; the silence brought her a sense of
tranquility in order to override her haunted thoughts. It seemed as if eternity had passed as she
continued to sit upon the wooden bench, silently observing the serene view.
As time elapsed, she found
herself staring at the palm of her hands, slowly tracing the lines of her
destiny. Her vision blurred as a single
tear drop fell onto her palm. A single tear personified hidden feelings of
pain, fear and loneliness.
Geet raised her eyes towards
the sky, 'is fate truly so cruel?' she asked the heavens above. 'Am I destined
to live unhappily for the remainder of my years?' Ironically, she waited for a
response ' futilely hoping that somehow god would answer her questions. She
sighed in resignation and closed her eyes. 'My three wishes have yet to be
accomplished' she prayed, 'until then, please give me the strength to continue
on with my life'.
That said, Geet stood up and reluctantly casted a lingering glance over her shoulder before turning around and walking away in the unknown path, destiny had in store for her.

He slammed his fist hard
upon the desk, causing the staff to jump back in undisguised terror. Adi nervously
fumbled with his fingers as a string of sweat streamed down his flushed face.
'S-sir' he stammered nervously
'Enough!' snapped Maan as he
continued to glare angrily at his main designer. 'Did I appoint you this job
for you to continuously make mistakes? He asked.
'No MK' murmured Sasha as
she looked down onto the ground in humiliation.
'Then how the hell did this
happen?' he asked vehemently.
'T-the orders went wrong' Sasha complained earnestly, 'it wasn't my fault ''
'Get out' Maan said
menacingly.
Sasha's eyes brimmed with
unshed tears as she stared at her boss hopelessly, 'but MK, I am really sorry'.
'Did you not hear me Miss
Sasha?' Maan repeated, 'get out of my sight'.
With a sob, Sasha fled from the room ' her shoulders shaking uncontrollably from her dramatic tears. The remaining staff quickly left the room in fear that MK would soon vent his anger out on them. Adi stood trembling before Maan, at a loss of both words and courage.
Maan restlessly paced around
the room, his hands clenching into fists ' 'Damn these women and their tears!'
he swore loudly. 'You say a few words to them and their ready to cry!'
'S-sir' stammered Adi.
'If you be nice they will
cry from being happy, and if you talk a bit seriously to them, then they cry
from being sad!' continued Maan, 'and if you say nothing at all, they will
still end up crying for no god damn reason!'.
'S-sir' Adi called out
again.
'I can never understand
these women! They use their tears as a weapon' Maan exclaimed unaware of Adi's
lingering presence, 'tears have been used so many times that It has lost its
own meaning'.
'S-sir' Adi called out
again.
'What!' snapped Maan as he
stopped pacing and glared at Adi.
'C-can I l-leave n-now' Adi
trembled violently.
Maan sighed in frustration
and nodded his head, watching Adi flee from the room in relief.
He sat back down upon his chair and stared unseeingly outside the window. The suns rays brought light into the room, a light that he abhorred with ferocious intensity. He quickly closed the blinds and welcomed the darkness to enter once again into the room and into his life.
