Lady A has been enlisted to act out a romantic scene. They are expecting too much if they expect her act all soft and feminine.

Geet half listens and half replies

Damage control of her friend was the priority right now.

As soon as Geet disconnects the call, the friend pounces on her and starts shaking her only shouting 'Aaaaaah' for a while.

She didn't know where to begin questioning this clam shell-secret keeping woman.

G - Okay Okay. Calm down. Stop shouting now, would you?!

F - Stop shouting? STOP SHOUTING? AAAH HOWW?? HOW? HOW? HOW? HOW? HOWWWW!!?

Geet is jerked around and shaken back and forth for good 5mins before her friend calms down to talk reasonably.

Instantly she starts tickling Geet.

Geet of course doesn't want to tell everything... but it was hard to stand ground under such torture.

G -Okay. Okay. I'll tell. Stop it!!

F - Spill!!!

G - Last year. This man proposed and I said yes. And we got married at the courthouse. No one. NO one from my side knows... you know how everyone is.

F- Hold up! He proposed and you said yes? What is this erroneous report? Why did he propose? Why you said yes? When exactly? Where? How you met?  And then we can talk about reasons of keeping marriage secret.

The woman knew she really couldn't hide anything by being ambiguous.

So, she slowly tells her.

 About the after party. Bar. Drinking. Plans going awry. Catering stink. Drunk guy in counter. Audition. Post audition celebration. Sudden proposal and contract marriage.

Geet trusts her friend and knows she wouldn't tell it outside.

More importantly she knew friend won't judge her for her low morality throughout these events.

The friend looks intrigued shocked surprised happy through the narrative.

But in the end, she is confused.

F- You guys have a contract marriage. Which is clearly heavily in your favor.

Geet nods.

F - And he often calls you and acts all sweet like this?

Geet nods again.

F - And he supports your career. Helps you solve problems of any type and any kind.

F - And he also gives you money for living expenses/shopping/travel. Basically, for whatever reason.

G – Well… he won't stop. I told him I don't need all that much.

F - And this lady A is actually a secret bodyguard to guard you? And he flies over to you whenever you get hurt or upset. And he clearly wants to have bed scene with you but with your consent and mutual attraction. He even agreed to wait till your mindset is more stable towards each other.

Geet nods slowly.

Hearing her friend summarize things this way... The situation was a bit absurd... it looked she was taking too much advantage of a nice man.

F- And you still believe it's a contract marriage?!! Are you DUMB?!!

G - Ummm…but isn't it?

F - Clearly the man is head over heels in love with you!! Contract marriage is just an excuse. Wow!!! He really knows you well! He knew love talk will be useless with you so quickly he switched strategy. Brother-in-law is truly a high IQ and EQ genius.

G - Wh... what??! Haha... no way... No way. Nope.  You don't understand. This is all only fun and games to him.

F - I don't understand and I don't believe it. Whatever…you know him better. So, let's agree to disagree.

G – Hmm

F - But more importantly. What do you feel towards him?

G- Wha…I... this is just a contract relationship.

F - So you feel nothing?

G – Well…not nothing... we can be considered good friends, I think? We care about each other's well-being and...

F - Uh huh..  friends!! Kuch bhi!! I know you better than you know yourself. If you guys were just friends, you wouldn't be tolerating this sort of behavior from him.

G – I didn’t, ok? At first, I was really annoyed, and I asked him to stop saying such things many times. But the more annoyed I got, more he enjoyed it and increased saying this type of things. So finally, I stopped telling him no... and he still keeps it up... I don't know what to do about it!

F - Are you telling me you hate the way he talked to you?

G - Well no.... I guess I am used to it now....

F - So you do like it!

G - I didn't say that!!!

F - uh huh... still denying it! I see. Well then Ms. Geetanjali answer me this. Your career is quite stable and as per what you reported... he really hadn't helped you with anything in that aspect. In fact, even increased rumors and gossip about you. Correct?
