( Background - After finally calling it quits on the royal siblings, Anusuya accompanied Dhruv to 21st century on his insistence, as he knew the 17th century’s regressive mindset wouldn’t let her live in place despite of the fact that both of them were proven innocent. She’ll always be reminded of the humiliation she had to face at the hands of royals and the heartbreak she got from Mahaveer, the man she loved with her everything. )
Present -
Adorned in a beautiful Anarkali-churidar, Anusuya accompanied Nani to Mandir. It was her daily ritual to accompany Nani, whom Anusuya lovingly called Nani maa to Mandir in early hours of morning.
But today was different, she was facing a havoc of emotions in her mind and heart & her uneasiness didn’t go unnoticed by Nani.
Kya hua beta ? Koi baat sata rahi hai kya ?…. -Nani
Anusuya simply nodded in a yes.
Nani maa, jab mastishak aur hriday ek dusre ke viprit ho toh aise mein humein kis ki baat maane ? Kaise pehchaane ki kaun sahi hai kaun galat ?

Bete, galat dono hi nahi hote bas humein pehchaan na hota hai ki hamare liye kaun sahi hai. Hriday ka prem aur Mann se ki gayi sahayata kabhi galat nahi hote…… - Nani replied.
Par prem kabhi kabhi kam pad jaata hai, nani ma. - retorted Anusuya with a tinge of hurt in her voice.
Prem kabhi galat nahi hota bas kabhi kabhi jis se hum orem karte wo hamare liye sahi nahi hota. - Replied Nani as he lightly caressed Anusuya’s head.
They reached at the stairs of the temple, as both of them started to remove footwear Nani said - Hum mandir aaye hai aur tum dekhna tumhe yahan tumhaare prashno ke uttar swayam bhagwaan de denge……..
They both covered their heads as they entered the premises of the temple…..Tumhe pata hai beta prarthna bhi prem ka hi ek Swaroop hai kyunki hum uss vyakti ke liye prarthna karte hai jisse hum prem karte hai. Prarthna karte waqk ussi vyakati ki chhavi humare Mann mein aati hai jisse hum prem karte hai……. - Nani finished as they both reached near the Pujari ji to hand over their puja ki thali.
Nani’s words started to echo in Anusuya’s heart, soul and mind, literally in an unison as she closed her eyes with her hands folded in front of the deities.
A flash of events ran in her mind…….
(Fb - Dhruv’s image appeared first as she closed her beautiful hazel brown orbs. She remembered how he took a stand for her when she was getting berated by the royals for helping him and accusingly having an affair with him. She remembered how slurs were thrown at her in air from the people she once called her own. She remembered how she was called characterless and a cheat. She remembered how Dhruv came and stood in front of her when a furious Maharani tried to charge upon her in order to raise her hand. She remembered how he openly took a stand for her and told the royals how "Anusuya ji" possessed more character than the entire royal family combined. She remembered how he was about to hit Mahaveer when he called her cheat and accused her for taking advantage of their family’s trust. She literally had to stop Dhruv by holding his hand then and there……she remembered how she tried to commit su!c!de after being humiliated in the royal court by drinking poison and how Dhruv stopped her from giving up on her life for people who don’t deserve her a bit. She remembered how he told her that he owes his life to her because if it wasn’t for her, he’d have been hanged to death. He told her that she saved his life and made him realize that life is too precious to be given up then how could she think of giving her own life ? How can she do it to herself ? She remembered how after her and Dhruv’s innocence was proven, she found the guts to move on and the start afresh even though her heart & soul were grievously wounded & her pain wouldn’t let her sleep. She remembered how Dhruv asked her to accompany him to his world. She initially refused because she thought she’d be a burden to him and his family but he told her that she is a friend to him and his family would accept and welcome her with open arms & he was right. His family did welcome her with open arms and not once she was made to feel like an outsider.
She remembered the time when she first saw a guitar lying in the storeroom of the house and asked about it to Khatti. Khatti told her that it is a musical instrument that Dhruv used to play very fondly but he hasn’t touched it once after returning. Dhruv has immersed himself completely in his work because he was battling his own demons, his pain and his heartbreak. Anusuya decided that she had to do something for her friend. That night when arrived home, he was taken aback by surprise when it was Anusuya who opened the door for him. He asked her the reason of her being up so late. She told him that Sushila maa was having a headache so she asked her to retire to her room & told her that she’ll serve food to you once you come back home. He thanked her for her concern and went to change as she warmed the food up for him.
She remembered the first full fledged conversation she had with him that night.
As the both sat on the dinning table after Anusuya served food to him, she decided to strike a conversation with him about the musical instrument she got to know about.

A - Aaj humein khatti didi ne bataya ki aap guitar bajaya karte thae aur ab nahi bajate. Aisa kyun.
Dhruv stopped midway as she finished her sentence. He looked at her and then instantly looked down as pain started overwhelming him. There was a time when he dreamt of playing each and every romantic song for Tara but dream was shattered and he was shattered too.
D - Mera dil nahi karta ab.
A - Samay dheere - dheere sabhi ghaav bhar deta hai lekin ye humaari bhi jimmedaari hai ki hum apne ghaavo ko bharne de naa ki unhe kutarein. Dard se bhaag kar dard kam nahi hota, apne dard ke saath baith ke, uss dard se baat karke jarur kam hoga…..she finished.
She smiled and stood up from the dinning table to pick the dishes and utensils up. After finishing everything in the kitchen, she bid him good night with a warm smile and made her way towards the room only to be stopped midway by the sound of strings of guitar……..
She turned back and followed the sound which was coming from the verandah. There she found Dhruv with guitar in his hands, with a small smile plastered on his face….

Anusuya went on to sit on the chair placed across his chair, both were now facing each other directly
Dhruv closed his eyes & started playing a song which felt like a melody to her ears and a soothing agent to her pain.

She didn’t realize when her eyes welled up but she quickly wiped her tears away before they came to his notice.
She got up to go to her room before she teared up more but she was stopped by him as he held her hand in tracks.
She turned around to be met with his beautiful orbs; orbs that only displayed his goodness of heart and soul. He loosened his grip on her hand, his eyes trying to say something.
D - Aapka abhaar Anusuya ki aapne mujhe aaj firse guitar bajane ke liye prerit kiya. Ek ajeeb sa sukoon mila mujhe aaj aapki wajah se.
"Anusuya" he had never called her just Anusuya. It was always a ji after her baje but today it was just Anusuya. Not that she felt weird or awkward but she definitely felt happy to hear him call her “Anusuya”
She smiled at him and bid him good night.
She remembered all the times when Dhruv would hide his pain in front of the family because he didn’t wanted to stres anyone. His good nature, love and respect fir people around him would always her astonished because how can a man who went through so much still retain his original self ? He was made of pure gold….she would always tell herself. He battled his demons alone, like a lone warrior. She remembered that one night when he felt truly weak and wrecked . She went near him to console him and how he engulfed her in a hug that time. No, it definitely didn’t feel awakened to either of the two. She reciprocated his hug as he cried his heart out in her embrace…….. fb ends)
Anusuya broke out of her trance as she found herself praying for his well being and him…….what was she feeling ? Was it right to feel this ? Was she in love with him ? All these thoughts started dancing in her mind but suddenly Nani’s words rang up in her ears. Prem kabhi galat nahi hota……
This was the answer she was looking for. Her questions were answered here. She took a sigh of content. She was in love with Dhruv and it didn’t feel wrong anymore. She knew it wasn’t going to be easy but it felt like the divine has given her a second chance at love……
