It had been almost a month since Dhruv Tara returned to 21st century from 17th century after facing zillions of problems. They both were finally at peace with life and time. Dhruv got regular with his hospital but his workload & schedule wouldn't allow him to spend much time with Tara. She understood his circumstances and she never complained about it but she missed him deeply. She missed his presence. She missed his warmth. She missed their conversations. She missed him. Tara was finally finding her sanity back after coming back to her real home; the sanity which she had almost lost to 17th century's hysteria.
Everyone in the family cared for Tara deeply. Dhruv got Tara some books to read as she loved reading. First book which Dhruv got for Tara was a compilation of kabir Das ji ke dohe. She was touched by his gift.
It was Dhruv Tara's one month anniversary when Dhruv decided to throw her a surprise. They were rightfully & happily married to each other but he never really got to propose her........he thought to himself.
They confessed their love for each other in front of their Kanha ji but he never really proposed her. That's when he decided that he'll do the deed today.
After returning from hospital, Dhruv directly went to their room and started decorating their room's balcony, making the ambience all set for the proposal.
Dhruv was dressed up in a plain white shirt, fabric of shirt tightly hugging his biceps. It felt like today he dressed to kill others with his handsomeness.
Tara all decked up in a simple white chikankari Anarkali suit, entered their room. She found their room all dark with not a single light on. She turned around to switch on the light but before she could do so, she felt a strong arm on her arm, pulling her towards their balcony. Before she could scream, Dhruv placed is hand on her lips. He saw her eyes widening and her in a complete bewilderment. He removed his hand from her mouth as her breathing started to get normal.

Dhruv held her hands and made her sit on of the chair.

She couldn’t believe what she heard just now. Dhruv’s melodious voice contained strength to blow life in a lifeless stone……Tara thought in her mind.
It was at this moment when Tara felt her heart overflowing with love for him. She was touched beyond words and measures. A lone tear escaped her eye which she quickly wiped. She wanted to tell him and the entire world how much she loves him & that this man belongs to her & only her.
Dhruv stood up and forwarded his hand. Tara held his hand as he walked towards the place where moonlight was falling directly.
Dhruv stopped there and said .......... Tara hamara vivah toh chuka hai lekin mein tumhe kabhi properly propose hi nahi kar paaya.
Ji kya nahi kar paaye ?.... Tara asked as she tried to pronounce propose.
Hamari sadi mein ladka ladki ko shaadi ka prastav deta hai. Mein tumhe kabhi theek se prastaav se hi nahi paya. Isliye mein tumhe aaj propose karna chahta hun yaani ki prastaav dena chahta hun.

Tara felt overwhelmed at the sight in front of her. She fell in love with him all over again........with tears brimming in her eyes, Tara replied - Hum jeevan aur apne sabhi janam aapke saath hi bitaana chahte hai...
She went on her knees……forwarding her hand she asked…..kya aap saaton janmon mein hamare ban kar rehenge ? Dhruv didn’t expect a proposal in return but his heart was dancing with happiness
They both got up from there knees and Dhruv placed the ring on her ring finger. He kissed her hands and took her in a hug.
I love you Dhruv.......said Tara as they parted from the hug still holding on to each other.
I love you Tara.......Dhruv replied pulling her loser to him.
Dhruv's touch had a hold on her. She always lost herself in his proximity. She didn't realize when her hands went up from his shoulder to his neck. She found her arms wrapped around his neck & him holding her close by her waist.
They looked at each other with longing evident in their eyes.
Dhruv caressed her cheeks before placing kisses on both of them. She closed her eyes when she felt his lips on her cheeks.
She came out of her trance she found his thumb brushing on her lips. She opened his eyes and looked at him. He was asking for permission to go forward through his eyes. She blushed and closed her eyes, giving him the affirmation to do the deed.
What happened next sent shivers down her spine. He captured her lips in a slow kiss which turned passionate with the course of time. He bit on to her lower lip, gaining more access.
They parted away when Dhruv felt her going breathless due to lack of oxygen.
She felt shy. She couldn't muster up the courage to look him directly in the eye. She turned her face away from him.
Dhruv hugged her from behind as they both gazed at the beautiful moon together.
