heyy guys, soo I came up with a Pre-shadi AU kind of story, and all thanks to Barkha for giving me a prompt storyline idea....also, its my first time writing something on Pre-shadi track....I hope you guys like it!!!
Note-The story starts after Shiva saves Raavi when she was about to suicide by standing in middle of highway because Shiva told her to and post that scene,
also, here, Raavi just has a mere crush on Dev.
Part-1
Shiva entered store muttering something, he looked tensed so Gaumbi who had been noticing him, went ahead and asked, "Kya hua Shiva...tu toh delivery ka payment karna gaya tha na...sab thik haina?", Shiva shrugged himself and giving a fake smile he said, "Haan..haan Gaumbi sab ekdum chakachak hai...", to which Gaumbi as a doubt asked him again, "Pakka?..toh fir tu payment kiye bina wapas kyu aagaya Shiva?Jo bhi hai baat bata Shiva ab kya naya kaand kardia?", Shiva knew there was no escape route left know, he had to tell the truth so he said, "Gaumbi voh zyada kuch nai subah subah us Mami ki behen ki beti ne dimag ki kadhi khichdi kardi thi toh maine gusse mai aake usse boldiya 'Ja mar aur mera picha chod de', aur voh akal bina ki gadhedi chali bhi gai Veraval highway apni jaan dene voh to achha hua maine mandi vale chote raste ki jagah highway vala rasta liya toh usko bacha liya, saav dobi gadhedi che raddi bhar dimag nahi hai usme"
To which Gaumbi panicked first but listening that Raavi was okay now he chuckled a little as he has seen both of them fighting and caring for each-other at the same time...he added, "Tum dono ka bachpana abhi tak nahi gaya...aur Shiva tu jitna usse chidta haina usse zyada toh tu uske khayalo mein rehta hai....teri duniya Raavi ke ird-gird ghumti hai aur Raavi ki, tere ird gird...jab tak voh tujhe sataye na uska bhi toh din khatam nahi hota"
Shiva just passed on a little smile and went back to work, while arranging the goods Gaumbi's words kept ringing in his mind, indeed Gaumbi was right, he and Raavi had been rivalries since their childhood and yet never did they failed when it came to caring and protecting each other...there were instances when they ended up hurting each other together with protecting each other also...they never apologised or thanked each other; as if it was deemed, or their responsibility to do so, being drowned inhis own thoughts on his equation with his Chipkali, he went back to the store room to arrange things sequentially.
While on the other side, as Raavi walked along with Anita and her masima, she kept wondering of why did he save her when he himself was the one who told her to go and end her life on the highway,and wasn't she exactly doing that...she was startled on why did he save her,she felt bubbles of curiosity rising up in him so she informed her masima and Anita di to head home while she would come after meeting her Dhara di and Gaumbi...when she went to pandya niwas, she saw Dhara di was having conversation with someone on call...so she just stayed there listening to the conversation, as the call ended she could sense panic on Dhara's face but before she could ask...Dhara herself told, "Raavi mujhe aur gaumbi ko mama aur mami aur Anita ke sath ahemdabad jaana padega ma ki tabiyat kharab hai...Toh maine mami se baat karli hai tu do din ke kapde leke yahi aajana...Dev Jamnagar gaya hai parso lautega...toh gharpe Shiva,Krish aur tu...tum teen achhe se rehna thik hai...chal jai somnath mai dukan se gaumbi ke sath nikal ti hu" on which Raavi said, "Aap yaha ki tension mat li Dharadi aakhir kuch din ke baad mujhe yahi pe aana haina..mai apne dono devar ka aur mere 'to be sasural' ka dhyan bohottt achhe se rakhungi dkehna..."with a big smile...she went with Dhara to store and as they left, she wondered where could Shiva be,maybe that was the perfect time to ask him the question.
Shiva was in a good mood now and was singing his favourite song "Saawan barse,tarse dil", he kept snapping his finger for a rhythm and with another hand a little stick which he kept hitting on that steal peep container for music and continued.As Raavi entered she was amazed to see this side of Shiva, was he really Shiva or was she day-dreaming, she was unable to understand but she kept looking at him in awe; as if she saw something as amazing as world's 8th wonder and ofcourse her Bhoothnath who seemed so uninterested and unromantic was singing one of the most romantic songs, she listened to his singing and dhe kept singing as he hadn't noticed her presence there,he sang...
"Sawan barse tarse
Dil kyon naa nikale ghar se dil
Barkha me bhee dil pyasa hai,
Yeh pyar nahee toh kya hai
Dekho kaise bekarar hain
Bhare bazaar mein
Yar yek yar key intzaar mein"
He slowed down as he turned and saw her looking with awe; while she was staring him in amazement, and how melodifious voice he had, though he seemed like a monster, a Bhoothnath to her but this was totally opposite of what Shiva was or what Shiva was according to her...She thought the song he was singing was utter Romantic, did that mean he fell in love with someone and it was for her...no, no, that's her Bhootnath,he's Shiva, he cannot fall in love...she shrugged on her this thought which as a consequence brought her in reality where she saw Shiva approaching her & as he came closer, she kept walking backwards only to realise that the door was closed and now she had no way to escape.
As he kept coming closer and even more closer,the proximity between them increased which made her gulp and shiver passed through her spine, he came more closer and as if breaking the silence, he asked, "Kya ghoor kya rahi hai?Kabhi kisiko gaana gaate nahi dekha kya...mami ki behen ki beti" with an unamuser face...she answered, "Tu...tu gaana kabse gaane laga Shiva tujhe toh yeh sab nahi pasand tha na...aur voh bhi romantic song... yeh tu hi haina Shiva?" With a little poke on his nose and a smirk.Shiva as if irritated said, "Tu kya nasha karti hai...afeem chaat ti hai kya...maine kya pucha aur tu kya bol rahi hai...aur mai gaana kyu nai ga sakta?", To which she said, "Bai matlab bilkul ga sakta hai pan romantic song hai na isiliye...toh tu kiske liye ga raha tha?",
Shiva was soo done with her questions now, and what an absolute dobi she was but innocent and cute...he shrugged himself as he thought her and cute...she is mami ki behen ki beti she cannot be cute,she's witch...So he just said, "Tujhe usse kya... mai kisike liye bhi gaun tera kya jata hai...ab hatt teri tarah aankhein faad ke ghurte rehne ka time nahi hai mere paas", to which she frowned with wide eyes as he said, "Mai kisike liye bhi gaun.." what did he exactly meant by that, did he had a girlfriend or a crush or a friend and how dare no one told her about this and how did she not come to notice or know this...for a moment she felt as if she had not knew him before, he became a complete stranger for a second to her...or had she been so reluctant having her crush as Dev that she never noticed this side of Shiva even if it was visible...she had no idea, she left the store immediately...leaving Shiva baffled of what she was upto, it's okay though because he can deal with her after gling home so he just went back to work.
