The episode begins with Popatlal running behind everyone, Popatlal ass them to trust them, as he wanted to tell about adulterated holi colors, as he taken some samples from the laboratory. Champak chacha asks why he did not tell earlier, but Popatlal says no one was listening to him. Eveyone blames each other, Iyer says sorry. Taarak comes there asks about the situation, Iyer tells about the situation, Popatlal also tells about his article.

Popatlal asks Taarak where they are going to which Taarak tells that they are attending a poetic function, Anjali also tells everyone to watch the show. Hati bhai asks for food, Taarak tells that ther's going to be immense food. Taarak wishes everyone Happy Holi earlier as they won't be there. Popatlal shows the lab results which leaves Hathi bhai, Iyer bhai shocked as these are harmful. Popatlal warns everyone not to play Holi with this colors. Popatlal asks for a meeting and Bhide will tell about other situation. Bhide decides to tell everyon after Holi pooja.

There at Roshan bhabhi's house, ladies decides to wear red color dress at tonight pooja, as it will reflect pooja and white dress the other day. Daya also tells that Anjali won't be there as they both have gone to a function. All the ladoe go home to dres up.

There at night, Jetha talks to Babita, Jetha says that Babita always escape, but Babita says time will tell, Tapu Sena talks about their arrangements and so does Daya to all ladies. Bhie announces to do pooja and everyone starts doing pooja, does pradakshina and gives offerings. Bhide announces an emergency meeting and asks everyone to come.

There at meeting, Bhide announces that this time Holi will not be played at Gokuldham society. Everyone is angry and is curious. Bhide tells them that there are 3 reasons to not play Holi, firstly there will be no water supply, and secondly no cleaners are available to do clean up and thirdly that this time Holi colours are adulterated and if these colours touch our body then they are harmful. Popatlal also elaborates on this, that this time Holi colours are harmful. He also tells that Hathi bhai will also tell more about this.

Hathi bhai stands and tell a short description, Jetha wonders such a short description. Tapu Sena disagrees, but Bhide asks them to study for their final exams. Babita asks for a solution, but Bhide says that there's 1 solution and that is not to play Holi. Hence, Bhide asks for a voting round. Those in favour of playing Holi should lift there right hand, most of them put their hands up, Seeing his babuji lifting his hand, Jetha also lifts his hand.

Then those in favour should lift there left hand, Popatlal lifts his both hands, Bhide asks why he's lifting both hands, but Popatlal says that he's voting for Taarak. But everyone is shocked to see Champak chacha lifting his hand once again. Seeing his fathe lifting hand again, Jetha hesistantly lifts his other hands, and so does everyone.

Champak chacha says that the reason he put his other hand up, because he's against playing Holi, as he does not want the children to be in harm's way. Tapu Sena seeing Champak chacha saying no agrees not to play Holi.
