Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case continues to be a mystery as the CBI investigation is still underway, the case saw many conspiracy theories making rounds on the Internet. In a new twist, actor Akshay Kumar has filed a Rs 500 Crore Defamation Case against a YouTuber called Rashid Siddiqui for dragging the actor’s name in Rajput’s death case and made fake allegations against him. A YouTuber named Rashid Siddiqui made several videos on his channel wherein he alleged that Akshay Kumar was unhappy with Sushant bagging big films like Dhoni: The Untold Story film. In his videos, he also made shocking claims that Akshay Kumar was secretly in talks with the Maharashtra government for Sushant Singh Rajput’s death and that he helped Rhea Chakraborty escape to Canada. Furious with these allegations thrown against him, Akshay Kumar decided to take the legal route and filed a defamation suit of Rs 500 crores against the YouTuber. Earlier, Rashid Siddiqui was arrested by Mumbai Police for dragging Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aditya Thackeray in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. However, the court granted him anticipatory bail and asked him to cooperate with the police in the investigation. Rashid is a civil engineer from Bihar and runs a Youtube channel. His YouTube channel grew immensely in the last few months from 1 lakh to over 3.70 lakh subscribers and As per a report in India.com, Rashid Siddiqui has earned over Rs 15 lakh in four months by posting videos about Sushant Singh Rajput’s death on his channel.
