Personal Life:
Terrence Lewis, born and brought up in Mumbai, is an artistic director and choreographer. He was born and raised in Mumbai to a Catholic family.Born to Xavier Lewis and Teresa Lewis, he is the youngest of eight siblings.

Early Career:
Terrence is internationally trained choreographer and has specialized in Indian folk, Neo-classical and contemporary dance forms. He runs the institute named Terrence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company (TLCDC) in India. He choreographed dances in some bollywood films like Lagaan, Jhankaar Beats, Uuf Kya Jaadoo Mohabbat Hai, Naach and Shikhar and several advertisements like Liberty Footwear, Elle 18, Kiah, Samsung Phones, Sony Ericsson, Hero Honda, Dabur Anmol, Wills Lifestyle, Nyle shampoo, Reebok, Santoor soap, etc. He has also choreographed international stage shows, Indian contemporary performances, mega Bollywood shows and several music videos. He is the first Indian to receive the Dance WEB Scholarship, representing India in Vienna, Austria. He also did Music videos like Adnan Sami's Kasam (with Amisha Patel), Stereo Nation's Ishq (with Koena Mitra) and Shaan, Saapna Mukherjee among others.
Terence also did international musicals like 'The Children of the sea' and 'Finding Marina' with the Civil War and Tsunami affected children in Sri Lanka.

Terrence appeared on television as a judge on Dance India Dance for its past two seasons. In season-1 Terrence Lewis and his contestant, Alisha Singh, came in second place, with Mohammed Y.K Gouse (Salman Khan) in first. Season-2 is where Terrence Lewis and his contestant, Shakti Mohan, came in first place. Terrence is also going to judge another dance show in colors channel namely-chak dhoom dhoom.
Terence was the contestant of Colors TV 's Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi [Level-3] anchored by Priyanka Chopra. Terrence's partner was Ananya Kapoor as chosen by the contestant Terence Lewis. Terrence got eliminated on the 11th Episode. Many say because he had a dance camp in california.


Terence won the American Choreography Award for his excellent choreography for songs of the movie Lagaan along with Saroj Khan, Raju Khan, Ganesh Hegde and Vaibhavi Merchant.
