Chaitanya Adib portrays the role of the father of little girl named Anandi in the popular serial BALIKA VADHU. Where ever he goes people address him as Anandi Ke Baapu. Not that he is minding all the attention given to him.

In fact, Chaitanya Adib was brought up in Rajasthan. Hence he can relate to the characters very strongly. Before this Chaitanya has done the character of Kunjan Pratap Singh in Saat Phere besides theater and many other serials.

Chetanya Adib aka Kunjan Pratap Singh of popular soap Saat Phere on Zee TV is passionate about acting. That was just the beginning and later there were series of serials done by him. He had moved to Mumbai in 1996 from Jaipur. He had done a lot of theatre in Jaipur, so he knows the nuances of acting better than many others. That gave him a lot of confidence. First serial done by Chetanya was Yuddh of Kushan Nandi. Although Chetanya's character was very tiny in this serial but he was part of it for 50 episodes. This was the first time he had faced camera. Later he did the main negative character for serial Kunti on DD which was telecast for two years. Then he did Mumkin, Swaraj, Papa. Babul Ki Duayen Letee Ja, CID, Aahat, Suraag, Lekin, Mohra etc. Chetanya has also done countdown shows on Zee TV and ATN.

Although Chetanya had neither done any acting course nor had he taken any God Father in this industry, still he managed to stay on his own mettle.  He has inherited acting in his genes because his maternal grand father Prem Ji Adib was one of the known leading artiste of fifties. Not only acting, Chetanya is also a known name in the field of dubbing and voice over. His voice can be heard in many shows on Discovery and other popular channels. He has also loaned his voice to Hollywood actors for the dubbed versions of their films. He has given his voice to Spiderman's best friend 'Harry' in the latest version of Spiderman-3. Then he has dubbed his voice for Hindi version of Hollywood films for the artiste like Kenu Reeves, Wesley Snipes, Sean Connery, Cristopher Reevs, Val Kilmer, and Sylvester Stallion for films like Batman, Superman, Spiderman etc. For him dubbing is just an extension of his first love acting.
