Nikhil Kapoor (<b>Sanjay Suri</b>) is the all round state swimming champion of Goa. He trained in the river, tamed the waves and ruled the pool. His father-cum-coach, Navin Kapoor (<b>Victor Bannerjee</b>) has brought him up to be a sportsman and is proud of his son who has won a scholarship from the sports ministry. His mother, Anita Rosario Kapoor (Lillete Dubey) dotes on him and his elder sister, Anamika (<b>Juhi Chawla</b>), whom he calls Anu, is more of a friend to him. <br><br>
Add to it a steady girlfriend Leena Gomes (<b>Dipannita Sharma</b>) and good friends Nigel de Costa (<b>Purab Kohli</b>) and Sam Fernandez (<b>Gautam Kapoor</b>). Also he shares a healthy competition with rival Kelly Menzes (<b>Shyan Munshi</b>) in the pool. Catherine (<b>Peeya Rai Choudhary</b>) is Kelly's girlfriend. <br><br>
