Sid and Mohan Ss1 are two completely different characters even though they share some of the same triads.

Both wear their heart on their sleeve and love unconditionally. Both have a difficult relationship with their fathers and grow up alone. They are carefree and have an "I don't care" attitude. Both tried to fit into their love ones life and be accepted as they are.

They share the same insecurity and fear of losing the person they love.

Said that, Kunal Karan Kapoor made both characters stand out, gave them their own thoughts patterns, habits and brought out varied nuances.

His brilliance as an artist lies not only in his portrayal of Mohan, but in his personification of SidG.

As Mohan has a very special place in our heart, so has Siddharth.

#KunalKaranKapoor has won hearts with his portrayal of both characters Mohan and Sid. They came as a breath of fresh air and broke the stereotypes.

Sid and Mohan are two different characters such as Megha and Sanju.
What they have in common is that Sid and Mohan came and brought hope, faith and happiness into Megha and Sanju's lives.

Megha was a widow with two kids who victimized herself at times and who defined herself in the way people and family see her. Megha's self-respect was important to her, but suffered under her trying to be the best daughter in-law.
Mohan came into her life and she became independent. Megha started smiling and found the girl in her that got lost somewhere as she got married at a very young age.
Mohan was that hope that even though you are a widow or a single mother, you can find love. You deserve to be happy and it's ok to be selfish at times.

Sid again is a character that came into Sanju's life and made her realize that she can have a better future and she should fight for it. That if she really wants to see her family happy, she needs to be happy. Siddharth broke all the walls that Sanju had built up around her, because he saw Sanju's heart.

The beauty about Mohan and Sid is their love and respect for Megha and Sanju. Unconditionally love (Sid does have some expectations) and they accepted Megha and Sanju as they are, not trying to change them.

Talking about Mohan and Sid, they both struggled and suffered trying to prove their love for Megha and Sanju. They tried to fit into Megha and Sanju's lives, but were always as outsiders looking in.

Both Mohan and Sid have some insecurity when it comes to their relationships, because they are not a priority. Megha and Sanju on the other hand want to keep Mohan and Sid for themselves and not share them with anyone else. It's like keeping two different lives. The one they know and the one they wish to have. Forgetting that they are being unfair towards Mohan and Sid not giving them the place, the respect that they fully deserve.

The difference between Mohan and Sid is also that Mohan lost himself, but Sid found himself.
