Her funeral rites were never shown, and she might have been pregnant. Aise hi thodi they’d show a consummation scene and then never follow up? I feel like they’re saving it as a last resort — kind of like how Abhir was introduced this gen. We all thought he’d died, right? And then poof, he was magically resurrected.

What I don’t get is — if Abhir survived, how did Abhimanyu die? A six-year-old kid makes it, but a thirty-year-old man doesn’t? Sounds totally bakwaas. (I assumed there wasn’t any backstory behind Abhir’s sudden reappearance — if there is, I wasn’t aware, sorry!)

Regarding the nightmare we are eagerly waiting for that.

Honestly it doesn't make sense. If Abhir survived , how come Abhimanyu did not ? Where did he stay all this long? How did Akshara accept that they were dead? She didn't even see their mortal remains. Wasn't she his mother? Normally a mother's instincts are shown to be impeccable, right? Toh woh kaise fail hogaya?

Having taken the decision to remove Birlas from the picture, he should have stuck to it. Yeh flip karke sirf khud ko beizzat kiya hai usne.

P.S. I think even Pranali refused to accept the extension, so why glorify her and remove only all traces of Abhimanyu from the picture?

I too am feeling the same. Makers are stretching every possible Abhimaan track without giving any hint for separation or death. Maybe Yeh rishta will end with this gen only with all the pairs getting their happily ever after.
