Technically yes. If they are gonna make Geetanjali's kid as the lead, then rishta will also shut shop, just like Ghum did. People see this show only because of 'legacy' ...agar wohi nahi raha toh kya hi hai dekhne layak ?

Pankhuri was famous so RS didn't either kick up a fuss or couldn't kick up one. But don't think that's the case with actor playing Geetanjali. Jo Vedika ke saath nahi kar paye woh Geetu ke saath karenge

yes I remember vedikas track...pankhuri did lead roles but she was barely getting screenspace in rishta..and then she disappeared for a while and then returned with the kidney track..but they ended her track because they were reuniting kaira..and here geetu is not a popular actress..but anyway to me it looks like she'll be gone soon..maybe she'll do a few more kaands and we'll see vidya flipping again.
