One needs to factor in script, dialogues, screenplay with sub tracks.

There wasn't a plot base since the start and there isn't any till date.

Unfortunately in comparison to DKP's current or off air shows 3rd generation cast are very weak in executing scenes. Collective efforts of actors matter.

I agree that good tracks which are well executed will bring TRP but I disagree that characters and actors have no hand in it. Relatable characters which are well portrayed will interest people to watch the storylines connected with them. It is difficult to appreciate good tracks with unrelatable characters and / or poor acting. ITV anyways has senseless, regressive and repetitive storylines since ages, so I don't think majority watching ITV are expecting sensible stories. I think people are watching out of habit, for mindless drama entertainment or because they connect with a character.

If we say so it's combined team work right ..point on whole no one actor can take credit of increase in trp and take blame of due to his exit or his acting trp decreased is my say..as you say good track with good plot only fetch trp .. obviously good screenplay with acting too

Sorry, I have difference of opinion.

My POV - It is combined team work for TRP. That combined team work includes acting as well, because no matter how dramatic or entertaining the tracks, they have to be executed by the actors. IMO, if the actor acts poorly, the drama of the track as well as the relatability of the character is gone. I have seen good scenes (across different serials) being ruined because actors have not conveyed proper expressions either due to inability or bringing of personal issues on set. So, personally, I would give credit or discredit of TRP to the actor if the acting is too good or bad.

I say, good track with good acting brings TRP. Good track with bad acting (I would find the actor responsible for TRP decrease here) or good acting with bad track (I would find the writer responsible for TRP decrease here) won't bring TRP.

This show running for past 14 years ..grinding same thing again and again this is ott world ...one actor getting blamed for trp decrease is illogical to me and same time for trp increase too one actor should not be praised ..there are all lot of factor involved in a week just one person should not be blamed or praised at all

Praising one particular actor from Season 1 or making a pair brand ambassadors created indifferences giving leeway to fans.

For example Naksh belongs to a world where culture, traditions, respect laid down pillars for each and every subplot. Joint family based story brought in trps.

Akshara Maheshwari became famous.

Can we really compare Maheshwari's to be units of measurements. Is Akshara Goenka remotely close to her nani.

Akshara Goenka's flawed nature goes beyond redemption. It's DKP's responsibility, they have to write what sells.

Similarly when writers sketch one dimensional characters, full responsibility does not fall on the face. Team gets credit.

Unfortunately in season 3 everyone wants to earn royalty from their franchise.

Team DKP should take onus for ratings not a popular actor or set of genius writers.

@bold I feel the bottomline should be that no show should run for 14 yrs & if it has that long runtime it needs to shut down asap.

I too have same thought process..it's like grinding same chutney again and again with same ingredients to me

Your idea is actually interesting. It could revamp the show, but I don't think the makers are interested in the show.

Makers wasted Abhir's surgery, Abhir's truth reveal, and now the murder trial was over in a few episodes. All the characters have amnesia to move onto the next track. Anything is better than the nonsense they have been showing for months lol.

I would have loved if akshu fought against abhimanyu gave him punishment of life imprisonment and abhimanyu pronounced dead due to accident and akshara sees this video post thst and goes into guilt trip and recalls every of her action. On the other hand abhimanyu has lost his memory and staying with a family who rescued him. They can even bring that rumoured fl here who would be the doctor who saved him.

That way trp audience would have seen something in the story. The curiosity will abhi give up his love. Will akshu get back to abhi before this new fl falls in love with him. Now i don't have any curiosity left in the show. Even 9 year old can predict what is the future story 😂
