Exactly....most of his previous shows had a shorter lifespan and even though he did a good job in all of them, the fact that they ended pretty quickly didn't really provide the time to be able to navigate the amount of range he's been able to do as Abhi.

Abhi is already a very intense character to begin with but with time, all the different shades he's gone through in love, heartbreak, grief, tragedy.....now fatherhood as well but in a very different way from any of his previous roles. So we are getting to see new shades of Harshad the actor along with Abhi the character because Abhi as a character is being put through situations that none of his previous characters got. It takes a lot of finesse as an actor to convey these complicated emotions.

I agree....he is getting way more range to play as Abhimanyu and he's doing full justice to it.

I always find it surprising to read so many people trying to put down his acting as Abhimanyu....IMO this is some of his finest work with the way he has navigated those shades of intensity and softness in Abhi's character....it's a rare kind of combo.

Voice modulation ? dialogue delivery ? I remember when he first introduced Dr. Abhimanyu Birla via IG, Yrhpk fans made fun of his diction.

I connect ONLY to Abhi in this show that’s b’coz of Harshad - the way he brings out every pain and every nuances of Abhi - literally no one can 😍😍, is it any wonder he is called the king of ITV 🤩🤩. I also admire for the person he is, the way he takes everything with humility and still stays true to his convictions is very admirable - as he said multiple times, he wants his work to speak for himself 💕💕- doesn’t go behind PR or false publicity- such a great guy 😍😍

One would really think, why get attached to a fictional characters (AB in my case) like this that after a episode - you go crazy b’coz ur fav character was not treated well (believe me, I did for the last 2 episodes 😅) - but after a while I realized, I’m looking at this story only from ABs perspective not from AKs (I do understand that’s b’coz I don’t want to) - but her perspective is wat mainly matters and drives this story..sad but true 😅..only justification I can give why I connect to AB even after white day is b’coz of the scenes given to this character post leap (here I’m talking only abt the scenes where we get to know AK is it for him) - and on top this guy - HC 🤦🏽‍♀️❤️🤦🏽‍♀️❤️- he enacts each scene in such a way you end up feeling sorry for AB. I remember crying buckets (🤣🤣🤣) after watching the Kasauli episodes esp him questioning himself how she moved on, Tilak scene, Manjari asking him to make space in his room, learning AK is coming to UD..so many 😍😍..even recent ones with abhir and yesterdays him carrying her slippers was heart touching.

If I can give Oscar for ITV performance, I will give it just for that Tilak scene ❤️😭❤️😭❤️🤣🤣

Harshad is literally giving life to a fictional character ABHIMANYU BIRLA & making us live it thru him, this guy is just another level ❤️❤️ (I just cried looking at VM 😭😭)

Oh, can write a story abt Aditya Hooda 💕💕, he will always be special 🥰 wat ever character Harshad played in the past or he will play in the future - nothing can come close to ABHIMANYU BIRLA & ADITYA HOODA - these are one of his best ones ❤️❤️

I also liked him as Prem as well in kdmhmd..❤️ and who can forget Anurag - Tere Liye….❤️

Harshad did justice to each and every character he played, such an awesome actor - very dedicated to his craft ❤️❤️

And for Pranali to work with him at the beginning of her career is definitely a very good thing, learn from the master himself 🤩❤️

You're Right! The longer duration of this show has really given us a chance to see a wider range of Harshad's acting skills as he explores the complexity of Abhi's character.

Abhi is such a layered character - dealing with intense love, deep heartbreak, profound grief, tragedy, and now fatherhood. These aren't easy things to portray and it's impressive to see Harshad pulling off these complex emotions so convincingly. It's like we're seeing new sides of Harshad as an actor along with Abhi as a character because Abhi's experiences are unlike any that Harshad has portrayed before. It truly takes a talented actor to do justice to such a character 😊❤️

My 2 cents - writing failure and us not getting what EXACTLY is AK feeling after the UD trip especially, b’coz they flipped her bad after that trip and the scenes after that made no sense to me. All I get from AK is her swallowing so from that I need to understand that “ok- her inner feeling is different 🤔” - how many scenes I will give this clean chit and accept that she is still in love with AB??!! They messed her up so bad - so no one connects with her now and all feel only for Abhi and sympathize with him. May b that’s wat their intention was, white day everyone hated AB and AK got all the sympathy - now it’s vice versa. Somewhere in all this - it would have been nice if we could have got a scene which is just abt AK and her inner turmoils 😒.
I still feel AKs POV is wat drives the story - otherwise why would this guy be still ok to be a docman to his own son, playing homey and maid in Kasauli 🤷🏻‍♀️

Harshad always raises above the script ❤️, that’s why even after white day - people are sympathizing with him, I feel its only b’coz how he played post leap AB (sad and lonely - still remembering/missing his love, trying to b a better person, loving her ex-son even though it killed him know that she has moved on…) with best portrayal of emotions. Any sane person would connect and feel for AB 😂
