Chapter 6

It had been 6 months since Akshara joined Birla Hospital......Abhimanyu had fallen head over heels with Dr Akshara Singhania.......Even Akshara had fallen in love with Abhimanyu but was refusing to admit it......Abhimanyu was itching to tell his mother about Akshara but had controlled since he wanted to confess to Akshara first........Every time he tried to talk about his feeling Akshara found a chance to escape........She was avoiding topic of heart Abhimanyu had thought......Kirti too had found Akshara changing making her question Krish who told her about Abhimanyu and Akshara.......Naksh wanted to see who the young man was but Kirti and Natik stopped him stating that if there is something to tell Akshara would tell them.......Even her relationship with Aarohi and Kairav was improving but Akshara kept the other Goenkas at bay......

It was one of the busy days for Akshara,she had just completed her surgery......There was some special doctor visiting Birla Hospital........Akshara was just going to Mahima for a consult when she spotted a doctor talking to Abhimanyu and Mahima........A disgusted face and memories of loss overtook her and she walked on to the opposite side......Abhimanyu spotted her,heavily breathing probably a sort of panic overtaking Akshara.......Abhimanyu walked over to her quickly and pulled her to his cabin......He locked the cabin and gave her a plastic bag to breathe in........

Abhimanyu (asking her )-Akshara breathe........Saas lo......Breathe come on........(looking at Akshara calming down)-Accha lag raha hai !! ?

Akshara (thanking him)-Yes thank you so much.......

Abhimanyu (asking )-Ye pehle hua hai kabhi........?

Akshara (deep breath)-Nai kabhi nai.....pehli baar hua aisa......

Abhimanyu (inquiring)-Why did you panic seeing Dr Saxena ?? (seeing her trying to lie)-Please jhooth mat bolna......Kya huva ?

Akshara (closing her eyes and confessing)-Dr Rohit Saxena is the same surgeon who operated on my father.......He was the one who misdiagnosed everything......

Abhimanyu was stunned hearing Akshara's confession........How can sugeons make these type of mistakes which cost people their family members.......He looked at Akshara.....She must have dealt with so much while-st trying to keep this information inside of her.....

Abhimanyu (keeping his hand on hers)-I am sorry Akshara......Aab tak aapni family ko nai bataya tum ne.......?

Akshara (nodding)-No.....They will not be able to take it......

Abhimanyu (smiling)-Even you cant take it Akshara......That was the reason ki tumhe anxiety attack sa kuch aaya uss doctor ko dekh kar.....Share it with your family it will help you a lot......Personal traumas aise daba kar nai rakhte......

Akshara looked over at Abhimanyu......He calmed down each and every one of her fears,anxiety in a minute......Why did he have to love her so much.....?And who wouldnt fall in love with a man like Abhimanyu....When he looked at him all she could see in his eyes was pure love and nothing else....But her heart was always blocked by her.....She knew she was in love with Abhimanyu......Irrevocably probably since the trip but she had a lot of emotional baggage........

Both of them didnt realize that they were absolutely too close too each other.....Abhimanyu's hand on Akshara's waist....He removed the strand blocking the view to her face.....He always absolutely hated that strand......When ever she was working she would tie her hair up and she would look so beautiful that he couldnt even begin to describe.......Abhimanyu and Akshara's lips were inches away from each other......Just as they were about to kiss Akshara's phone rang and she came out of her trance and moved away from Abhimanyu..........Abhimanyu knew this was the right time to confess his feelings........

Abhimanyu (calling her out)-Akshara kuch bolna tha !!

Akshara (whispering)-Kya ?

Abhimanyu (describing)-I love you !! I probably have been since the time i heard your voice for the first time......mere dil ki doctor ban gayi thi tum......tumhari awaaz.......I know its all of sudden and mai koi pressure nai kar raha hu......I will wait for your answer......

Akshara opened Abhimanyu's cabin door and stormed off to the locker room and requested Mahima for half a day since she was not feeling well......Mahima obliged since this was the first time Akshara was requesting for leave in her 6 months......Akshara went straight away to Singhania House and straight to her room.......She wished Abhimanyu had not confessed.....Its not like she didnt knew.......When she and Abhimanyu were around each other they wre completely lost in themselves.......They had become such good friends and with this confession.......Akshara was so confused...........

Kirti when came home from her work was told by Maharaji that Akshara had came home early and was extremely upset.....Kirti and Naksh both rushed upstairs to her room.......Naksh and Kirti both sat on each side of her bed......Kirti caressed her hair and couple of tears fell from Akshara's hair......Naksh was worried but he let Kirti take lead.....

Kirti (softly)-Baccha is everything alright ?

Akshara (with tears coming from her eyes)-NO !!

Naksh (calmly)-Kya huva beta !! ? Batao humme......

Akshara narrated everything to the point.....How she met Abhimanyu for the first time,how they bonded on the trip,how they became very good friends and how Abhimanyu confessed today......

Kirti smiled hearing that.Krish had told her that something was happening with Akshara and Abhimanyu......

Kirti (smiling)-Woh tumse pyaar karta hai bacchaa....Whats wrong in that ? And its not like tum usse pyaar nai karti ho........Tum bhi usse utna hi pyaar karti ho jitna woh tumse karta hai.........

Akshara (getting up)-How do you know ? Maine toh aapko kuch kaha bhi nai aapne baare mai.....

Kirti (smiling)-Ma sirf Krish ki nai hu mai Dr Akshara.....Tum badal gayi ho......since you have joined the hospital......you have changed.......your relationship with Kairav and Aarohi is lot better....You eyes depict your love for him........number of times koi uska naam leta hai tumhare chere par alag hi khushi hoti hai.........Why are you so confused........?

Akshara (with tears in her eyes)-I have enough baggage mami......

Naksh (smiling)-Baggage sab ka hota hai AKshu.......Jab mai aapki Mami se mila tab mera bhi tha......(smiling at Kriti)-Aur Kirti mami ka bhi tha.......you know about it.........Baggage doesnt mean you cant fall in love......

Akshara (truthfully)-Pyaar toh papa bhi karte the na Mumma se ........Than how come he remarried so early.....mumma ke jaane ke 9 months ke aandar toh unhone Sirat ma se shaadi kar li thi.....Was that his undying love for my mother......

Kirti (finally confessing)-Aarohi is not your sister beta......Aarohi Sirat ki beti hai.....Sirat and Kartik were best of friends but not husband and wife in that sense......Tumhe ma ki zaroorat thi and Aarohi ko pita ke naam ki.........Thats all you need to know right now........Kartik ne sirf Naira se pyaar kiya tha baccha......Agar mujhe pata hota ki tumhare maan mai ye chal raha hai toh I would have clarified way sooner........Now go aab tumhari baari hai........Chal Jaa Abhimanyu ke paas.....

Akshara texted Abhimanyu to meet her at the garden....Abhimanyu was extremely nervous.....His aunt Mahima had told him about Akshara's family problems......Maybe that is why she was distant ......Thats why the pain .......Mahima had known it from Manjari who had told about Akshara Singhania who had not so good relations with her paternal family Goenkas......Abhimanyu reached the garden and spotted Akshara sitting alone on the bench........He took a deep breath before going in...........He sat on the opposite bench of Akshara.....

Akshara (explaining)-I am sorry Abhimanyu......I should not have reacted that way......

Abhimanyu (smiling)-Its alright Akshara......Kya baat karni thi ?

Akshara (explaining)-I love you.....Just as much as you love me.......But I have lot of baggage Abhimanyu.......

Abhimanyu (holding her hands,smiling)-Baggage har kisi ka hota hai Akshara.......Koi bhi aisa nai hai jiska koi bita hui kal na ho......Aur mujhe tumhare beete hui kal se koi matlab nai hai.....I love you........

Akshara (smiling,with tears in her eyes)-Mai aapni family se saalo se bahut door rahi hu Abhimanyu....... ek tarah se boolu na toh akalee rehne ki aadat se ho gayi hai mujhe......Akela pan accha lagta hai mujhe.....Mera ek saathi sa ban gaya tha ye akelapan.....I dont get along with my paternal family due to multiple issues.......My Mamu and Mami are as much as parents for me......Kairav and Aarohi are my siblings......Par jis din se tumse mili hu.....sab badal gaya hai meri life mai.....Aaj tak kisi ke saath maine aapni takleef nai baati hai........you are the first and the last person......Tumse aapna dard dshare karke accha lagta hai mujhe.......

I love you so much...........

Abhimanyu (smiling widely)-Phir se bol sakti ho........

Akshara (smiling)-I love you Abhimanyu......

Abhimanyu hugged her tightly and twirled her around....He was so happy that he could shout n top of his lungs.....Akshara hugged him tightly as well........She felt home finally......She felt at peace after so many years that she could even describe it.........Abhimanyu put her down and brought her close and kissed her on her forehead.......
